  • New SCIO update software (Clasp32 5-5-12) activation fee

I guess that most of the SCIO users allready got emails from Budapest Home Office regarding the new Clasp32 version update 5-5-12.

The thing about it, is that the activtion fee is no longer free of charge or symbolic 5 Euro.

Budapest Home Office is asking for 200 Euro as an activation fee!

But that's not all... There is a new plug-in for a biofeedback display (actually, this instrument is being sold as biofeedback instrument... so this plug-in should have been there from the first place) - but it will cost an extra 150 Euro.

I don't know how you feel about it, especially after Dr. nelson promises in the past that updates would be free of charge. I feel it is a ripp off and lack of morality.

Please let me know your oppinion about it.

      Eductor And Budapest Upgrades

Hi I do not recommend you do any upgrading of anything for the time being. There is too much going on in the background that you probably do not know about.

Regarding the upgrade it is not worth a fiver let alone E200. The three areas that have been changed, not upgraded, would certainly not make you happy.

The Eductor is to be E22,000 launched in October with a new name for Clasp software - Eductor software. This is because the FDA banned Clasp, SCIO, EFPX, QXCI and L.I.F.E. in 2008 from being imported.

To get round this Eternale and Indigo were developed.

Take care as downloading is classified legally as "importing".

Eductor will have a new harness, but if you have a SCIO then you should not need to buy an Eductor. You can use the SCIO legally, just not import any new ones.

The Eductor has NO licence anywhere except a CE certificate, which costs around E500.

There are always glitches with new devices and software. It sometimes takes years to iron these out.

You may have the time bomb on Bills birthday, when your system crashes. A recent addition by him/her. If this happens I suggest you load an earlier version. The software may reverse to demo mode. You can always adjust you computer's time settings to prevent this from happening.
