His contention is that the Syria-Turkey clash will grow our of hand. It's true that Turkey has some NATO nukes. Erdogan seems to be suicidal and crazy. The British Astrononical Society reports that we are going into a minimum with the sun cooling down. I don't think that the PTB are willing to risk a nuclear winter on top of that. Erdogan may soon make an abrupt departure.
