I can live with almost no water and electricity
can also grow food with almost no water,
wonder how many people can do that,
the mass exodus might actually put some houses in my price range
I will gain as much as I can as others follow water wasting ways to ruin

      Cheap housing

Spacecase, you might find it very dangerous to have somehting that others do NOT have,,, like food. There are plenty of cheap houses in Michigan. In a general sense, the price of a house is related to the wages in the same area.
If you want to do it on the cheap, just buy a mining claim.

      AGE, Mining Claims For Sale
      They can be REALLY cheap.
      Then, get a container;

      I've seen 10 acre claims on a creek for $ 6,000.

          Drying out the West

Coos county is one of the wettest counties in Oregon. They have just declared an emergency over water.

            Water,,,, land values

Californians are learning that water affects land values.

I hope all of this makes it so I can afford to buy some land
I can grow plenty of food easy on 1/3 the water that is now falling in CA in this drought
most people have no hope of doing that (not that it is hard), so they might move...
I even posted how on my blog, and it is in old books as well, it is not like it is hidden info
it seems as if many people can't focus long enough to figure much of anything out after the instant gratification of the TV and internet
I went to the local community where I live 3 years ago,
all but one of the people I met had no hope of supporting them selves without some corporation paying them, and that one relied on many others to keep what he has going

the lack of water is only an issue if you don't look at all the factors involved and actually make an effort
if I can do it, others can if they care to bother
if land prices fall from others being lazy, then I am all for it

When the industrial revolution kicked in, agriculture was automated. People moved en masse from Agriculture to manufacturing. Manufacturing has been automated. There is no major niche to absorb all the people who have been made redundant. In the meantime, people have become so estranged from agriculture and the production of food that they don't have the slightest idea how to take it up on a small scale.
GOV created massive dependency to get both control and votes. GOV now finds itself saddled with many million of dependants who have the survival instincts of a fat house cat. Saddled with a dependency mentality and cursed with a lack of practical knowledge, these people will learn the hard way that the State is NOT their friend.
Millions will sit there and die waiting for GOV to come in and take care of them.

not sure how spiritual people are here,
but I try to gain tech info from that realm
and when I asked about water 4 years ago, I was told to get ready for water,
my followup question was to much or to little,
                      the answer was "yes"
it would seem as if I was not mislead

                      then look at this

                        Famine,,, then, feast.

California is in drought. It looks to be coming to an end. ( El Nino) "Ocean temperatures are already warm enough to far surpass the previous record holder" "But that prolonged exposure would leave California over-saturated"
