  • Art On The Walk

    Hi Energetic Forum members,

If you are in Australian and live in Sydney, come and visit me at Henry Deane Plaza(10th-14 Oct), I will be drawing LIVE on very large sheet of paper, LOL.

Seriously, I am a regular contributor on Aarons most enlightening forum, if you know who I am and would like a copy of my book or ask some general questions about subjects on the forum or general Tesla stuff, please come and visit.

I am an Artist and Writer, I hope to see a few EF members

If you are interested, just let me know, Regards Arto.

    Thanks for all

    Hi All,

I talked and met with 1000's while I drew, which resulted in many new "fans" that had a great time, many who scanned through my book while I kept drawing. Many University Students are looking forward to my "Uncommon Mind" tour and it looks like the University might be my first live Techno/Art/Music Gig. I am not sure if they would be keen on my discussions about Tesla and the corruption of modern science, since the University is a Technology Uni.

Being in the heart of the city where the mass of commuters pass through, I am encouraged to see that new ideas are happily discussed, but saying that many ideas are still considered dangerous. There were writers, artists, musicians, teachers, students, overseas travelers, kids, mothers, business owners, shop keepers, engineers, scientists, technologists, doctors and much more.

Thanks for all those who came and visited.

Here is my drawing, and my dialog about my drawing, I chose to work only in pencil. The title is "Uncovered Folklore":

This drawing done on Dessian CA grain paper 1250mm x 1500mm with a 10B pencil, drawn live in the middle of Sydney at Henry Deane Plaza. I drew it with the paper on the ground with a backing board, with a absolute minimum use of a rubber(clearing accidental smudges), without sitting, occasionally kneeling but mainly standing in a pose I call Kungfu Yoga, while talking, joking and engaging the crowds of thousands that passed by, all day for 5 days. I loved it and would do it again, it was for the event "Art on the Walk", with many other artists present. A few bird droppings, strong winds and someone walking aimlessly on the drawing did cause some problems, that's life LOL.

I was asked many things by the audience, one thing I did say more than once, “If Rembrandt was working on a drawing in his studio for a number of weeks before he started to paint, this would be the equivalent drawing. The difference would be, I am in the middle of Sydney, drawing on the ground, in a plaza with thousands of passers by, chatting and taking photos, working for only 5 days, I am sure Rembrandt would find the 21st century an undesirable place, noisy, full of distractions and not a place to contemplate deep and meaningful ideas on a drawing board, let alone a master work. ”
