Western Europe (NATO) quietly and steadily surrounded Russia with Bases and weapons.
The slumbering masses never projected what the eventual use of all those bases and weapons would be. It would bring the most destructive war in history. There would be no winners.
The neocons were unaware of the latest energetic weapons. They thought that clean nukes were the ultimate weapons to subdue Russia.
The average European never thought it through.

My suspicions are that; Don and Vlad will bring Europe right to the apparent brink of a suicidal WW III. It is already projected that the defence forces of Europe would last less than 48 hours. Once the tanks are in place, once the missile batteries are aimed and on alert,,, once the people can hear the rattling of sabers, The full reality of the outcome will be show in stark reality. The people will recoil in horror and hope that it isn't too late.

The neocons hope to have a brushfire war with Russia to queer the deal as far as any economic agreements. Russia recently told the people and the armed forces to prepare for a time of war. Vlad and Don are setting the stage for the apparent destruction of mankind and the planet. The "boiling frog" approach to surrounding Russia was not appreciated for it's eventual outcome. Don and Vlad hope to make the possible outcome painfully clear.
