Yeah you never REALLY know unless you are a witness, in politics or anything esle.
I tend to try not to leap to conspiracy conclusions in general because a lot of times with interpersonal interactions, suspecions of faul play turn out to not to be the case.
However, there is no doubt that humans work together for both good and not so good purposes. Then sometimes it could be a difference of opinion about what is good.
I think it is good to try to extend the benefit of doubt when possible but watch for being taken advantage of too.
The reason I think it is important to extend the benefit of doubt is because I think a lot of times there is conflict due to misunderstanding, rather than difference of opinion.
For example, I used to wonder how anyone could be in support of the National Rifle Association. I'm not into hunting or shooting guns, it does not appeal to me as I can only see it as damaging.
However, I eat meat and somebody had to provide that for me.
Also, I have come to realize why it is so important that citizens be allowed to posess fire arms. (By picturing what it would be like to live somewhere where only the government was allowed to posess fire arms.)
With this new understanding, I can respect NRA memebers even though I never thought I would have that view.
