Flannel is sexier than high heels

This is in response to the thread, "are you ready to party?"
For my money, a woman that can get me excited when we wake up in the morning, after a few years together, wearing flannel,the kids are screaming, the plumber is on the way, and all we want to do is be "alone".

I am certain that by you beginning this thread that you would like to create another lively discussion as you have on your Bible thread. Unfortunately it seems you are judging the thread I began many months ago incorrectly. Are You Ready For Some Fun? Yeah, We Thought So!!


The purpose of the party thread is to have fun in this Virtual Reality we are in, to use our imagination, and to share the joys of ourselves with each other. I used the word "Party" to denote celebration of life. I was not by any means insinuating I was looking for "a good time" .

Here I am quoting Jamie - "Hey guys, the party thread is to have a good time, laugh with friends and joke around. Quit taking everything so seriously! Join in and have fun! Come in high heels or flannel - we don't care!!!! You can even come dressed as women and we'd still have a good time!"

So Gentlemen, I am so happy and grateful that you are satisfied with your marriages and with flannel, screaming children, and with the plumber on the way as I read here. I am also very happy and grateful to hear Al, that you are happily married for 46 years, and have 6 fabulous children!

It is also wonderful to hear that Dan, you are still excited with your wife after a few years. Maybe Al can give you advice on how to stay excited after 46 years!

Hey Grace,
With all due respect, I thought maybe guys might have a say in their relationships. When couples get old, fat and stupid, the reason they got together might be a reason to stay together, not some silly TV show that requires couples to behave in some certain way that their gay host allows the fornication of moral beliefs of the average person. Now that was a mouthful!
Grace, relax when I say men prefer, or at least I do, flannel to silky dress, we just want to take it off. and wake up the next day to the same woman we went to bed with the night before. I used to be a stage musician, one night stands are not unusual to me. Women in high heels were the easiest to pick up. Particularly if they were married, and out on the town. I have been in a stable, loving relationship for the last 15 years, I love Irene, and would have no other. I started raising children when I was 11 years old,there is a joke in my family: Dad Raised four, and Danny raised four, Dad had one kid go to college, Danny had three. I have raised a total of of twenty children, most from my family, some from women I dated. Wear your silk stockings, the advice I would give to the female children in my family? Do it at home.
