Follow up interview
I love that you posted this Sharyn!! That story is SO beautiful! I cry every time I watch that video....*sigh*....
I recently saw the following interview with John Rendall and Ace Bourke about Christian and what's happened since that famous video was shot.

Hey Sharyn:
You know, when you've thought you've seen it all, there comes this video. Did not believe felines could remember. Once again, Mother Nature shows me how much I don't understand about her plans. Guess it takes a woman, I bow to your knowledge.

The Unexplained Power of Animals
Hi Dan,
I don't know whether you have read or seen any of Rupert Sheldrake's work. He is a biologist, who amongst other things, has done research into whether animals have telepathic abilities & their ability to remember- particularly dogs, cats & parrots.
Below is a video of part of a lecture he is presenting on this topic. He has also written an international bestseller "Dogs That Know When Their Owners are Coming Home"

Animals DO remember!
Sharyn: You're welcome on the follow up interview!
I love that you posted about Sheldrake's work, it is SO true! Our Chow dog Hannah will bark up a storm when a stranger comes to the door but her tail is wagging a mile a minute when she hears my dad or mom come home. She actually starts crying out for them when they are still 1/4 a mile away!
My aunt came for Thanksgiving last year and she didn't know whether Hannah would remember her (she hadn't seen her in 3 years). I told her she would because animals do store your scent in their memory banks and sure enough, Hannah was very excited to see her!
