Family-Houseboat, speedboat, scuba, etc.

Mary and I recently returned from a family get together in Nevada.

My mom & dad have been trying to get their 4 kids all in the same place, at the same time, for over 15 years.

It finally happened!

Myself, my two brothers, my sister, spouses, and some of the grandkids (and my mom & dad) all went out on a houseboat (escorted by my brothers speedboat ) on Lake Meade.

It was a great time of fun and sharing.

Hey wpage and Ingram,

I had NEVER scuba dived before....it was quite a bit of fun. The cove that we were in was pretty cloudy. Although as I went deeper it cleared up a bit. I did not go beyond 20 feet deep.

From riding around in the boat, it did seem that there were many areas that were quite clear.

Although, having snorkeled in Maui many, many times during our three years there, Lake Meade is a pale comparison.

The amazingly fun thing was being able to breathe underwater. It is quite an experience to be able to just skim along the bottom....very peaceful.

Always when snorkeling it was a big breath and then a hard push to the bottom...stay as long as you can and then rush back for air.

Scuba was a totally different experience.
