I thought you might be interested in the LHC (Large Hadron Collider) experiment which will be taking place tomorrow.

I happened to switch on the radio in my car this morning and heard an interview with Professor Stephen Hawking, and it sounds really exciting!

They've just got it going now

I've just been listening to a live report from the LHC on BBC Radio 4, and after a bit of a false start, and some hair-raising moments, they got it going for the first section of the tunnel! It was really interesting listening to it live! They'll be moving on to other sections throughout the day.

Very exciting stuff!

Stephen Hawking Video - Big Bang Bet

This morning I have been watching some of the videos related to the LHC and this interview with Hawking is one you may find interesting as I have.

I don't know why but I think this could be a staged event and they are going to "release" some new technology in the near future. Like they are having this as a precurser so people will think that the new technology is a result of a new discovery.

Maybe I'm just in a paranoid mood right now, lol.

Maybe this is just a logical evolutionary step toward new advances.

Does anyone know what happened when they turned this particle accelerator on? It seems as if everyone everywhere was talking about CERN being turned on but there was no follow-up.
