I am particularly amused by this bc I never understood how magic on tv could be taken seriously. I don't care at all about the audience, it's tv for Pete's sake, LOL.

That is hilarious! By the way, it got me thinking ... all the stuff we take for granted nowadays (escalators, automatic doors, underground parking) would appear to be "magic" to people of 100 years ago. Don't you agree?
