  • Is your cell phone tapped? Must see Video

    Unbelievable video.

Even when you are not using your cell it can be used to listen in on any conversations in proximity to it!!!

    no remedy

Remedy, this is no remedy except trash the cell phone.

    Cell phones and privacy protection
The article above references the information Kevin posted and
    basically tells you: "You're S.O.L."
There is no way to detect or remove spyware from your cell phone
and it's trash-can time for it.

    I don't have a cell phone

        turn off Bluetooth for starters

I didn't see this suggestion in the previously article, however i had learned from a TechTV episode of the "Screen Savers" that turning off your Bluetooth functionallity is going to eliminate a great majority of the risk of having your cell hyjacked.
Unless you are in the habit of coupling your phone to other devices such as an ear/mic piece or other hands free components, you most likely dont use most of the networking protocols that are running by default on your phone.
Turning these off will not only increase security, but it will increase the battery run time of your cell as well.
With out being able to network this way the hackers will most likely have to resort to much more sophisticated techniques, or physically install spyware by hand.
