Got home from trip --- Tornado hit our town --- pics

Got home Sunday evening from a road trip and found out a tornado touched down north of us and then brushed our town.

Our home was ok.

My daughter who lives a few miles down the road was ok, just a few rows of shingles off her roof, and a few trees down in the yard....BUT- within 100 yards of her house there were 5 houses with big holes in them, and one completely demolished!


Daughters next door neighbor....that tree is inside the entire back of the house.

Aw it makes me sad to see that damage to peoples homes.

I'm so glad you and yours are fine, amazing and great (subconscious) work all of you

Over the last few days I've noticed many things going awry. I had a scary experience which could have turned out very horrible and makes me feel very lucky to be alive. I don't know if it is coincidence or if it's the astrology now or what.

While we were gone we had a car traveling the wrong way (at NIGHT!) on the divided interstate.

I saw their headlights coming straight at me and swerved into the next lane right as we passed each other.

I was doing 70 mph and they were probably doing about the same.

Don't know why he was going the wrong way on the freeway...probably drunk or lost/disoriented. Closest off ramp was 5 miles ahead, so he'd probably been on there for awhile.
