Looking to buy an oscilliscope. Looking for a 100MHz one. Several on Ebay. There is this cheap one a Nicolet 204-A. What is the specs for it. Can't find specs anywhere.
Wanted to give an update on this. So it was dropped but it does power on and seem to work per se. Didn't come with probes to test on anything.
I know it was made after 1980. As you can see it has state of the art data acquisition module.
So if this works, I think I got the best deal of the millineum. As I think this scope goes down to nS range. The back has a digital I/O port. Maybe I can find one and attach to PC?
Still not sure on full capture speed. At one point it says 50ns/point. But then somewhere else it's says"full analog bandwidth 7MHz min/max" Sigh, I hope it's more than that.
Anyways, what kind of probes should I get for it?
If a scope is, say 25MHz, can I just used 100MHz probes?

Sure, just don't expect an improvement in performance.
