David Icke?

Just saw a movie by David Icke , called 'The Freedom Road'. He also wrote a book that explains things in more detail 'The Biggest Secret'. I have not read the book. I don't wan't to add wieght to his theory, since i know knowthing about what he is talking about. Just looking for somebody else who may have heard of him, and know a bit more about his ideas.

In a nut shell, he claims that we the people have been manipulated and guided to where we are now, by a society of very wealthy and powerful people, for thousands of years. This guidence is not for the general good.

Second, let me see, I'm not going to explain this well.... We are all made of energy( light ), our conscious mind is just a small fraction of our over all being.

David has some fascinating things to say and also some really creepy stuff.

I see him as sort of mix of good and bad ideas. Just don't take everything he says as gospel. Whether he is aware of it or not some of his stuff seems based in fear.

I've watched/listened to many of his lectures. I feel that he makes a lot of sense. He takes the time to connect all the dots thus giving you a better picture as to what is actually going on.

He does come across as honest. But his claims are from way out there. So much so , that this would require multiple sources , to help verify. One would wonder how meny solid sources would be willing to back up such dangrous ideas.

To me the biggest danger in his ideas, whether on purpose or not, is that people may begin to feel helpless and powerless against the forces he claims are so strongly at work.

Again to me it's a case of if it were really that dire the war would be over and we would all be slaves a long time ago.

Since that hasn't happened we must be more powerful than his ideas would imply.

Unlike many people who think that what happened two weeks ago is ancient history and anything that might happen two week from now is way to far in the future to worry about.
The groups that Icke is talking about have a slightly longer time frame. Their planning goes on for years, decades in advance.

In the early 1900’s this groups talked about dumbing down the general public. They envision a two class society, with they the elite on top and everyone else as a virtual slave to supply them with all their needs. Of course that is not likely to happen if there is an informed and educated populace. Thus they set about degrading the quality of the public school system. Naturally this was done in the name of fairness for everyone. Everyone was entitled to and ideally required to be publicly educated. Then the standards to graduate were then systematically reduced for everyone, that way we will not hurt someone’s feelings by saying they are smart enough to graduate.

As a result back then most people were quite literate and able to read and write fluently. Today about one in three people are functionally illiterate.

I believe I still have somewhere a copy of a late 1800’s grade school graduation test. No it’s not mine. But today I doubt that one person in a hundred could pass this old "grade school test".

Yes, I have seen that test. I believe someone even posted it here on this forum once.

And tho probably no one today could pass that test, if I recall correctly, the test material is no longer relevant to how we live today. I doubt that any high school graduate from the late 1800's could pass a test given to today's third-grader.

Yeah well they have also supposedly been around for a very very long time. So if it's all true why would they wait.

I mean if you want to live in fear of this so called group be my guest.

I just see no need for someone to supposedly be opening our minds to all this amazing stuff to think about, and then conclude it all with we are all screwed and watch out everybody. That to me is really closing minds with a hidden agenda.

I also think its a convenient way to blame others rather than take responsibility for ones reality. Don't want to look at corruption in yourself, family, etc? Focus on criticizing an evil group, etc.

But like I said, if you get your kicks out of being scared and angry, hey who am I to judge. It's your life and your choice.

Weather people are listening to david icke or someone else, when the speaker makes a general assumption such as "we are all screwed in the end", that obviously is a personal opinion as the speaker has no way to conclude what the population will do as a whole in the future.

All listeners should know to ignore any such personal rhetoric. If listeners believe the information, that is what they should acknowledge. They shouldnt ignore the information based on the speakers assumptions of any possible outcome or based upon how scary the information itself is.

Living in fear is a choice, instead of being scared listeners can choose to be active and take part in exposing any corruption. Without awarness of the corruption no one would be able to oversee it or expose it.

only he is very little technical, but yes I think only we are energy, this energy is the plenum in the vaccum in our state is like frozen:

This energy is like Nitrogen in normal state is like a gas we can't see it, catch it with our hands....

In the low temp this nitrogen is liquid you can see it and is easier catch it.

But we are like Nitrogen frozen, solids, this energy seems come from anywhere and in our existence is frozen but in the end of our exitence seems defrozen then liquid then gas again to anywhere of the universe.

In our existence we're jailed because time seems to be frozen for this reason energy seems condensed in our state only we can move us on 3 axis.

I agree. While it is certainly desirable to maintain a positive attitude it is also helpful to know who your enemies might be and what their plans are for you.

Sure I understand.

I guess this guy just kind of reminds me of a sort of germaphobia mentality where at a certain point information which may be true, or which may contain some truth, is focused on to an unhealthy degree (in David's case blame) and one to which there is probably some loss of facts at time (induced by fear).

That said, considering that some find the info empowering, I guess it's just a personality thing.

If you find it truly empowering, I am all for that. That's just not my personal reaction to it so I will leave it to those who enjoy it to do so.

What to do , to be constructive?

Not sure there is much I can do , at this point about the all powerfull evil lizard men. But how about the WE ARE ENERGY part?

Last couple of days I've been cruising this site. No particular reason, I guess I'm just looking to be entertained -- Unemployed ----. However, there seems to be a great deal of belief from a number of sources. Greer, Peterson, Paths associates, even David Icke, that the mind is a much more versitile entity then I , for one, had ever given it credit for. Personaly I'm one of those people who if I can't see it, it doesn't excist, but I have noticed changes in me from doing Paths Theaters, and hopefuly this will grow stronger. And I'm open minded enough to give ESP a go.

Where to start, how to start. Meditation? The Paths Meditation theater is making me a little less gittery, hey only 3 sessions, and I'm not like a kid with a sugar high eny more-- its a start-- oh see my web site -- PATHS ~ Mind Energetics --- LOL, comercial plug --- so shoot me PATHS ~ Mind Energetics Picked up some Brain strengening sound tracks, from Aaron and THE QUANTUM KEY, that may help.
