Politico's Jake Sherman opines on the next steps after Trump tossed lighter fluid and a match on GOP leaders, who largely failed to support his challenge to the November election:
House Democrats will try again on Monday, with a new stand-alone bill for the $2,000 checks, according to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). The House will also attempt to override Trump's veto of the National Defense Authorization Act as government funding is set to lapse.
To avoid a shutdown, the House could also pass another stopgap measure - however several pandemic relief measures will also run out between Saturday and Dec. 31, including $300 per week in bonus unemployment insurance and a moratorium on rent-related evictions.

Without further action from the federal government, other elements of the CARES Act aimed at helping individuals will expire by December 26. Those measures include expanded unemployment benefits for workers not typically covered and an additional 13 weeks of unemployment for those whose state benefits have run out. One progressive think tank estimates 12 million people could be cut off from aid when those measures expire.
As compared to adults from 9 percent of white households, adults from 20 percent of Black households and 18 percent of Hispanic households said their household didn’t have enough food to eat in the prior week.
In much of Appalachia, for example, many families live on less than $2 a day, and life expectancy is lower than in Bangladesh and Vietnam.
Before the pandemic, the monthly poverty rate for white individuals was 11 percent, versus nearly 24 percent for Black and Hispanic individuals. While the estimated poverty rate crept up to 12.3 percent for white individuals in August, it increased to 26.3 percent for Black individuals and 26.9 percent for Hispanic individuals that same month. In other words, the poverty gap between white people and Black and Hispanic people widened during the pandemic.
In Lauderdale County, Tennessee, where the poverty rate is 35% and 1 in 3 kids are growing up impoverished,

Slaves are folks who must keep their heads down 20-30 years working with barely a pot to piss in.
The system is so unbalanced that one person can make $200,000 dollars for the same amount of work as the person making $20,000 dollars. The Mexicans make $300 per week here on average, other Mexican men won't take the same job unless they are paid $1000 per week. They are all cow hands. There is no fairness. It goes back to the morels of people who seem to have very few.
The pipeline pays $5000 per week and only Mexican's can get in. They are mad at the whites who have done this 40 years, now the tables are turned. Only a handful of those jobs exist. The oil wells pumping jobs pay good using young men who get chemicals on themselves and die. The regulations are poor.
The wind turbine fiberglass factory kills people regular but it is good money and trucker go broke paying for their trucks. The whole system is a racket, rigged and dangerous. Walmart has not had an Automotive dept employee on duty to change grandma's tire since Mar. All the small coffee shop and food joints are dying if not already dead. hanging on by hope. Plz pray for America. Together we are strong and we will rise again.
We all need each other. The people are awake now and are not angry with one another.

The House and Senate will divide for two hours (at least) to debate, then
vote. The vote will be per Senator with the Vice President being the
deciding vote if needed in the Senate, while the vote in the House will
only be ONE vote per delegation, per state,
not per House member!!! The Republicans have 30 delegation votes compared
to the Democrats with 20 delegation votes.
If this scenario runs true, President Trump gets re-elected.
The Democrats, the media, social networks, and globalists around the world
will come unhinged and chaos will erupt. Bigly.
President Trump is trying to do the right thing and go through the courts
first, expose all the fraud, but we all knew that none of the courts, even
the Supreme Court wanted to touch this issue with a 10-ft pole!
This is why our forefathers were so brilliant because they knew something
like this could happen someday. So, don't listen to the media and all
their deception and lies. All you have to do is read the Constitution and
you know that the law, policies and procedures
in the end are on our side.
