Last time I looked at the official website - my Harddrive went nuts....Maybe I'm paranoid, or maybe it was a sneak-peek.

Apart from the ionisation it causes - has anyone thought about geo-stationary spacecraft using this energy directly ?

To fire a laser or energy weapon- you need large power source. One of the star wars projects used a fission device - just before vapourising itself, but would be a bit obvious to anyone monitoring things - plus expensive to operate.

It would be far easier to just aim your weapon - then transmit the power from a base station straight up to it.

Apart from offensive moves, there also has to be cover, distraction and deflection for military manouveres, so it could equally be used with cloud-seeding "contrails" to blind satellites or provide fake launch heat on homeground.....which may be where the crop circles come in......
