How was your year? Share what 2009 was like for you.


I'll go first-

For me 2009 was a year of transition.

Lot's of reevaluating of priorities, lots of challenges (with our new economy), a renewed realization that life is infinitely exciting, yet finitely bound within time.

Mary and I got to spend time with our first grandbaby, Lydia.

I discovered Facebook in 2009. Amazing!

I continued to see new people benefit from PATHS, but realized that so many more could be.

Mary and I spent more time together this year than previous years, both working and playing.

A deeper understanding of Love and the Source of all Love & Light.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with my daughter, Jillian. She is fun, smart and I am so proud of her.

Looking back over the year, it was definitely a "prep" year for what is coming in 2010 and beyond!

What was your year like?

Overall, I had a very good 2009 with lots of expansion - especially on the professional front.

Though it was a "bad economy" and I am an account executive in advertising sales, I received two promotions (one minor and one major) and received a prestigious "Rising Star Employee of the Year" award. I contribute this to having faith that the Law of Attraction always works. I chose to focus on the outcome I wanted instead of worrying about how it would happen.

I travelled a lot for my job in 2009, going to California four times. I also had business trips to Vegas, Dallas, Orlando, Long Island and NYC. In 2010 I will travel probably twice as much.

On the flip side, we still had many financial challenges in 2009. I can only think they would have been far worse if we had a different belief system. And as tough as 2009 was for us, I feel we are positioned well to have a much better 2010 if the economy improves at all. We can also have a great 2010 if we release the remaining resistance we have to becoming successful.

We both were very healthy in 2009.

I also spent a lot of time on Facebook and discovered the joys of "Mafia Wars" - haha!! Facebook helped me to reconnect with some people I have not seen nor heard from in many years.

I think we spent more time than ever at the beach this past summer, though we did not have a full week's vacation.

I read a lot - at least 25-30 books. We also completed some rather major household projects.

My 2009 started with a big question mark. I was clueless, unhappy and didnt know what direction to take. Watched the Secret for the first time, it caught my attention but I knew the info there was lacking. My search for the truth had me back in forth from my old beliefs in christian doctrine and my new beliefs in what came to be understood as New Age.
Then came PATHS, energetic forum, Grace
Very thankful for all of that. My first module was Synchrinocity then Spiritual Enlightenment. I could have used other modules for wealth and business success but these to me felt like a good foundation. And it was. Spiritual Enlightment made me a new man. Synchrinocity basically got me to the right spots at the right time.
I feel like I jumped down the rabbit hole, still searching for more. More importantly, I am very happy this year.
