I don't know if the Mayans had it right or not... but this was an interesting article - a real eye-opener

Reminded me I have to get my butt in gear and finish up some DIY energy projects here at home this coming year so I don't get stuck in the Arizona heat with no air conditioning or power - very dangerous!

Between solar power and wind power generation, I am hoping to weather something that could occur on the catastrophic level mentioned in the news article.

I prefer not to worry about impending doom, because no one ever really knows, but it does pay to be prepared in any event. Thanks for posting and giving me even a bigger reason to get my project done

According to "The Group" channeled through Steve Rother, the solar flares which are pointed towards earth have an effect on our emotions. The effect occurs some 70 hours after the solar flare.

I'm so psyched, november 13th 2012 I get a total solar eclipse in the morning (the line of totality passes 12km north of me,) then the leonids meteor shower a week after that, then lunar eclipse, then the geminids meteor shower (on the night of a new moon, thank you very much!) and that'll all culminate on the 21 12 2012, the summer solstice and a galactic alignment, with something really, really beautiful taking seed in the heart of everyone, even those who'll ultimately reject it and be left behind. The sky will be doing beautiful things for a month leading up to that, there's no room in my reality for the fear and anxiety the media keeps trying to spread.

Interesting...Maj. Dames states the precursor to this solar flare event will be the shuttle being forced down by a meteor shower..

Well that is a question that can not be answered. Two many unknowns and to many variables involved. No one I know of is sure just what this is all about, are we indeed headed towards a cataclysmic solar cause event of a unimaginable magnitude or are we going to suffer a magnetic reversal on planet earth, either as a totally separate event or one exacerbated by some other event. Is there any truth to the galactic alignment and the consequences? No one again can answer this. Although what may be coming is a combination of events that will lead to a combination that is far worse than any one event alone.

We see huge marches forward by evil powers to reduce and control the world population and destroy much of it. These powers have the capability to unleash massive devastation upon us and at such speed that if we are not prepared, not many of us will be here at the end of 2013 (*my impression*).

I am not a doom and gloom person and fully believe that if we prepare that no mater the event some of us will indeed survive and maybe be able to fight back if that is the requirement.

As to you well water, that is an open question. If you are on a small aquifer you might for some period of time escape a human intervention, although I feel that would be short term. In the event of any event, man-made, natural or cosmic, I would say ground water supplies are gone, rain water may indeed be toxic and if not directly contaminated underground sources would shortly be useless.

Certain contaminates can not be filtered out and require extreme measure to clean the contaminate (many metals for example.

Look up on the Internet 'Texas Radioactive Water Supplies'. We have found that the government has been covering up the fact that high levels of radiation is and has been in our water for a very long time. Many feel this is from the Fluoride that is added. Two poisons in our water, Fluoride and Radioactive contaminates.

You need to be prepared, water, water filtration (best of the worst), food, clothing for all possible types of weather from extreme cold to raging heat. Heat supplies for cooking and other requirements., gelled fuel, propane, kerosene, even gas, and above all insure you have a stock of medical supplies. Medical supplies from band-aids, tape and many I know are stocking trauma packs, pressure bandages and powered hemo-packs.

Yes and not all will agree, some method to protect yourself and family and the supplies you will require. There are thousands of people that do not even have a two days supply of food in their pantries and many of them will have the will and animal desire to take from you....

You must plan for the worst possible events and of course this is not possible except for a very few that have the resources (fund and desire), yet if you get close, every days worth of food and water is a day you may exist to the next.

It's a mater of common sense, an extra can of food when you go to the store, extra bottled water, some aspirin and antibiotic gel, vitamins for sure.
Date everything for when purchased and rotates properly. Many canned goods are marked to last to 2013, always watch the use by dates.

Look this is not a worthless investment, everything required is used in out daily lives, except maybe weapons, and you can rotate and utilize. This may even be a life save in the case to lost a job, think about it you may have six months supply of food, just what it takes to land another job.

Its interesting to look back on the specific amount of time over the hundreds of years it took for the mayans to calculate the alignment between venus & the sun from our line of sight. What about venus made the mayans so interested? Regardless of the 2012 calender prophecy, scientists have not only proven today that the astronomical units & measurements around the sun are widening because of excess solar energy expanding outwards (since solar winds & flares are also responsible for destroying venus' atmosphere) but because venus is the only other planet closest to us that has all of the same elements earth has physically, even if it is on a much larger scale. Its interesting to think about hydrogen & the connection between the mayans fascination with the planet. Science has proven hydrogen creates habitable worlds. And I know, the plot thickens from there.

Your statements mirror my thoughts Dr. Stiffler. I do not think all people are stupid. Many I know have started months ago. Others very recently. But most are doomed. Or will drag the others down with them. I feel things have accelerated recently.
