I catched this up at Twitter right now.

No job if you link to WikiLeaks, warns Columbia | eats shoots 'n leaves

From: “Office of Career Services” <sipa_ocs@columbia.edu>Date: November 30, 2010 15:26:53 ESTTo:

    Hi students,

We received a call today from a SIPA alumnus who is working at the State Department. He asked us to pass along the following information to anyone who will be applying for jobs in the federal government, since all would require a background investigation and in some instances a security clearance.

The documents released during the past few months through Wikileaks are still considered classified documents. He recommends that you DO NOT post links to these documents nor make comments on social media sites such as Facebook or through Twitter. Engaging in these activities would call into question your ability to deal with confidential information, which is part of most positions with the federal government.

    Regards,
    Office of Career Services
Anyhow, i can figure, this is like, when the Snake shows her real Face.

      encrypted archive

Assange is saying an entire archive has been sent out to 100,000 people
encrypted with all the docs it sounds like and if anything happens to him,
the key is going to be blasted out.
      Sincerely,

Right now, it are even actually no really critical Informations,
what are given out, just some drops over a hot Stone,
but it seems like, that they will twist it now to more then just a Rape suspicion.
Btw, a Attorny stated, that is was amicable Sex,
and no sign, if that been hostesses or with whom they did speak afterwards.

The German Gourvernment did try even at April 2009 to delete the Domain
www.wikileaks.de, and again, no single Word from this on the News.

I just hope, someone will make H. Clinton accountable for her spying.
But the UN is still a global controlled and factitious Organisations,
not much better then some certain other political society.
Spying on the Peoples there maybe only had the one Sense,
to see their loyalty to This System.

well, the attacks have backfired. the entire content of wikileaks, every document and file they've ever been sent, has been distributed to anybody at all who wants it as a bit torrent.

What that means is the information has been further decentalised. It's not just hosted on the several servers that mirror wikileaks any more, now anybody at all can download and seed their entire archive. And there are billions of bit torrent users around he world.

Such an elegant, powerful, peaceful and effective defense to the ongoing technological attacks, the cat's really out of the bag now. And it never would have happened if the site had never come under attack. I'll bet there's some very nasty military/intelligence people chewing on the brows of their peaked hats right now.

you can download the directory of the archive from here as a *.7z (zip file.) They've chosen that format because it is open source, you can download the 7-zip archiver from here

Once you've downloaded the archive and extracted it, you can use any torrent client to download the actual leaked documents.

"Sarah Palin says Julian should be hunted down like Osama bin Laden--so he should be safe for at least a decade."
A week ago, wikileaks had six mirror websites. Two hours ago there were 204 mirror websites. At the time of this post, over 350. And the torrents that went up just hours ago already have over 1,000 seeders. God bless the internet.

              wikileaks

Those don't look like anything related to Cablegate - the latest leaks.

Cablegate appears to be all over the internet but I haven't tried to download
              anything.

wikileaks.org seems to be completely offline - just found this reference:

4:13 PM ET 'Hacktivist' Says He Took Down WikiLeaks

A self-described "hacktivist" who calls himself Jester has claimed responsibility for taking down wikileaks.org, according to reports. Says The Huffington Post:
WikiLeaks has been hit by repeated cyber attacks in recent days, and at least one individual is thought to be at the center of those attacks: the "Jester."The Jester, known as http://twitter.com/th3j35t3r on Twitter, posted a series of tweets on Sunday claiming he brought down WikiLeaks.org and planned to keep it down "INDEFINITELY."
According to his Twitter bio, the Jester is a "Hacktivist for good."
              -------------

The next big leak is targeting a major US bank, seems it will be Bank of
America and it claimed to be so damaging it could bring the bank down.
              We'll see...

                    2) That it is ALL B-S put out by the CIA... Whether Assange is then an "agent" or was simply duped into doing it for them, is another question.

                    3) Assange and the data is totally "correct" (meaning he is "as claimed"), and the data was released against the CIA's wishes.

The CIA is not a friend of Iran or Afghanistan. , So, scenario #3 is highly unlikely.

So far, this Wikileaks has not released any materials exposing the sins of those behind the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. All their disclosure has been carefully filtered in a way that serves (or is protective of) the interests of the neocon only. IMHO, both scenarios #1 and #2 are possible.

                      WikiLeaks
wikileaks.ch is also available. wikileaks.ch is being hosted by EveryDNS.net, the same company that hosted wikileaks.org.

If the authorities are truly determined to shut down this site, they would have launched DoS attacks on all other wikileaks domains by now ----- not just wikileaks.org only.

That would make sense if they were truly interested in preventing the information from getting out. But what if the goal is to get the brain dead public screaming for greater control over the internet? Then the government could impose censorship because the people asked for it.

Just like after the underwear bomber was helped past security we got scanners at airports and now with the Christmas tree bomber we have talk of scanners at malls and theaters, etc. This just a coincidence, right?

At Twitter he shows a lot Entrys, what he brought down,
I did click some of the Links,
(as someone mentioned, this are all the good Pages, lol)
and at last there did come a lot of Apache Server Pages up,
                            means the Host is empty.
So either, he bought the Urls or have them to sell,
and make a Show from it, or they been no importend Sites.
I think anyway, he can may shut down the Domainname via the Service,
but not more as for 30 Mins, till the Scripts reload.
When he repeats it all 30 Min, it can look like, he did shot it down continually.

At Forbes someone mentioned the Name Clark Willingham,
and it seems like he has the possibilies to play with Domain names.

I do even think too, that it is more like, that they did pause with the Domain Wikileaks.org,
further are there Comments, that at the Side from Wikileaks are really
experiented IT-Professionals, so they would figure out,
how to protect the Domain proper.
And after seeing the Mirror-list, i think they dont need the Domain at the Moment anyway.

I still read through some more Docs and they are actually really not very importend, its actually,
what you can tell more or less trivial,
so no big secrets are spread, but anyhow,
what the Gov could had published by her own.

And anyhow i think, that was the Intention from J Assange,
to show Peoples Talks, what actually belong to them, The Peoples, too.
Theorizer are like High Voltage. A lot hot Air with no Power behind but they are the dead of applied Work and Ideas.

Australian government takes Wikileaks off banned website list | News | TechRadar UK

This is the same government (I make no distinction between the two parties, they're both run by the same interest groups, and both work at the indulgence of the same unelected treasury department,) that has spent the last twenty years trying to turn my country into the 51st state of the USA and China's southernmost province at the same time, but just making us look like toadying, weak willed, lilly livered, unctuous little yes men in the process. Oh, and utterly eroded our national identity along the way, just as an aside. Thus, this story represents a massive, massive departure from established protocol. We just unbanned wikileaks. In the context of Julian perhaps being an DIA or CIA shill, such a move would make sense. In effect, the federal govt here has just opened up wider access to the information on wikileaks, probably at the muttered behest of something bearing the handling caveat, USA/AUS/CAN/GBR/NZL Eyes Only.

To start with, yes, we have a blacklist of banned sites, but you won't hear that on Ophra when she comes down here. It's been in place for a couple of years now, but nobody's noticed with the local screaming match about the proposed mandatory filter going on. It just sort of snuck in under the radar, you know how that goes. I didn't even know there were penalties for posting links to banned sites, and I'm uncommonly well informed for an Aussie. I did, however, know the list itself wasn't deemed fit for public viewing, and was actually leaked on wikileaks back in the day. (Julian said it best when he said "the first rule of censorship is, you can't talk about censorship.")

Second, wikileaks used to be on that banned list. Until about a week ago, I find out just now, it would have been a federal offense for me to have posted the IP address to wikileaks on any Australian website. Lucky I didn't post that IP address last month.

My country has soldiers in Afghanistan, fighting for freedom. You could cut the irony down here with any one of miss morisett's 10,000 spoons.

                                wikileaks

Wikileaks is up to 507 mirrors as of now:
WikiLeaks - Mirrors of our website

.ch seems to be the main site and not .nl but doesn't matter.

Pakistan high court denied a petition to ban Wikileaks there saying
they must bear the truth no matter what.

Anyway, I want to know if free energy technologies have been leaked
                                to wikileaks.
