wikileaks vs censorship = a triumph of freedom of speech.

What about shutting down WikiLeaks? Easier said than done, as it turns out... | News.com.au

This article is a pretty good roundup of the last week's events surrounding the whole wikileaks drama. It explains who's behind the new wikileaks.ch website (Sweden's Piratpartiet, or Pirate Party, Sweden's third largest political party, and staunch advocates of freedom of speech and personal privacy and transparency of administration.) You heard right. There is a political party, one that has seats on the EU, mind you, who's stated aim is the protection of freedom of speech and your right to personal privacy. (If you do like it, move to Sweden! )

Anyway, this is rapidly becoming the frontline in the War Against Oppression. You heard. the same people who brought you the war on terror are the oppressors, and this, well, this is their REAL enemy, the supporters of free speech, good people who just want to live their lives without stormtroopers patting them down at checkpoints and their lives being tracked by corporate interests who're in bed with duplicitious governments like mine. The people who say governments should be transparent and accountable for their every action. The tech savvy nobodies on the internet who know how to keep a website alive through lawful, decentralised mirroring.

It must be a very frustrating, and perhaps even frightening time to be one of the invisible unelected elite who run countries like the USA and Australia. It must be a bit frightening to see the serfs in revolt, saying, "you know what? You can't take this website down, we won't let you. We're going to read those cables, and you can't stop us."

I'm starting to think, maybe all this "Julian's a CIA plant" is just another offensive in the power's that be's ongoing anti wikileaks smear campaign. My gut has always told me that website is on MY side, that like me, that site is about social justice, freedom of information and exposing the evil things our governments do behind closed doors. Bare in mind they've been around for years, this cablegate thing is all new, and it's misleading to say five plus years of whistleblowing was all for the sake of releasing one small parcel of pro CIA fluff. Nah, it makes more sense that as well as trying to knock the website offline, kill or imprison the website's founder, dark powers would be also trying to smear the guy and cast doubt on his motives and intentions. After all, this is the first time anyone at all has accused wikileaks of being in bed with any government. That's not their charter at all, and everything they've done since their inception leads me to believe otherwise. I suppose next someone will say he's a communist, that old fear pill always makes a huge percentage of the sheeple hate, fear and not want to trust who or whatever that label gets applied to.

    interesting times indeed.

Wikileaks main rule is that no documents posted there may be self-authored. so if you or anybody you know has technical information on free energy devices or concepts that have been shelved, you can (and I say should,) leak them yourself.

That's the beauty of wikileaks, anyone can submit. If anyone on these forums has access to any free energy documentation, schematics, videos etc, now would be the perfect time to leak it yourself, because the whole world is looking at wikileaks right now. You can use that to your advantage, just like intelligence agencies make use of fortuitous events in the global political arena and unrelated media hype to further their own agendas. Turn around, is, after all, fair play. Even if what you have is in the public domain, get it onto wikileaks, because more people are looking at the site than ever before, and it's a juggernaut blasting through the traditional walls of disinformation and secrecy. Use it. Get your information on board for the ride.

I'd encourage anyone thinking of posting free energy stuff to consider their own safety, and take steps to protect their identity by not submitting their leaked information from a home or work computer. Find a public access internet terminal, in a library or internet cafe, one that doesn't have any CCTV inside or covering the entry point you use. Bring the files you intend to leak with you on a usb drive, create new copies of the file on the public computer so the meta data for the files is flagged to the public terminal you're using and not the computer it originated from. You can do that by cutting and pasting text into a new text file on the public computer, doing screen captures of images and pasting them into a new ms paint file on the public computer, capturing video from playback in another application, or re-recording audio files in an application on the public computer. (if you have a question on how to copy a particular file format this way, feel free to either PM me or ask here.) Then, save the copied file, submit the copied file, who's metadata cannot be traced back to your computer, to wikileaks. Take the originals with you on your drive. This is all perfectly legal, it just protects you from the type of people who might try to track you down for revenge or punishment. We already know free energy is a very dangerous field to be successful in, just be careful and remember the people keeping the lids on it are dangerous and are not known for the forgiving natures and gentle ways.

Personally, I'm really keen for the bank documents to hit the 'net. I'm like a kid at christmas here, waiting for the first ray of light to go downstairs and see what's under the tree. The anticipation is palpable, and it's so exciting knowing it won't be long now!

I doubt it'd be govt leaks or diplomatic cables that'd contain info on free energy though. More likely to come from leaks in the fossil fuels corporate arena, or academic institutions imo, if you think about where a credible leak could come from on the subject, considering who's keeping all the existing inventions and technologies in locked rooms on dark shelves.

        insurance file

There's probably millions of people with that encrypted insurance file
        right now already.

        I found this:

INSTRUCTIONS TO PREPARE Wikileaks insurance file –posted by Bill Koed
Install a free BitTorrent client, such as at:
        http://www.utorrent.com/downloads

Torrent link for the insurance file at:
        http://torrents.thepiratebay.org/572...36.TPB.torrent

Install free AES decryption software, such as at:
AES Crypt - Downloads for Windows, Mac, Linux, and Java

The software is extremely easy to use - just right-click on the insurance file (or whatever method brings up a context menu in your OS), choose Decrypt, and plug in the supplied password.

So, I guess it is the countdown until the password is supplied to
unlock that file with the entire Cablegate archive.

That insurance file is 1.4gb - I'll just wait and watch anyway without
downloading it myself because when the password goes out, the contents
will be all over the internet as probably the most searched and read
        content in internet history.

Then, when the bank expose is released, sounds like against Bank of
America, that will be the next biggest.

This actually seems to be a very surreal kind of event.
        Sincerely,
        Aaron Murakami

            What should be secret?

One of the more commonly heard accusations against wikileaks is

Our governments needs to have some secrets. People's lives can be put in danger if we can't keep some things secret.
The second part is a fair comment, I agree, military operations and the like require a degree of secrecy to be successful. I don't agree we should be fighting each other in he first place though. But that's another argument. Until the day comes when wikileaks publishes documents relating details of yet-to-be-executed military operations, I don't think they actually can put any troops lives at risk, can they? How exactly? And to this day, wikileaks has not published any such document detailing any such planned offensives.

But should a governemt enjoy that same requirement, that some of it's dealing be kept secret? Not at the executive level. Certainly, in lower eschelon compartments of government where the actual intelligence work is being done, in departments like the CIA and the AFP which could be described almost as paramiltary, operational details should be and are kept secret and in house until the operational reports come out, and these often require a cooling off period before they go public. But the government's upper and lower houses neither deserve nor should be afforded any level of secrecy. At all. I don't want the people who make the laws that effect my life keeping secrets from me. I want to know their affiliations. I want to know who's paying them what. I want to know which special interest lobby groups they meet with, and how often, and for what reason, and what's discussed. Why, because it ends up having a direct impact on MY life. And yours.

Their decisions and operations aren't so life and death. they're more financial, legal, social. While they have the oversight of the compartments that should be afforded secrecy, their dealings with them and the order's they've given them should not be secret. What kind of government gets so upset when it's prevented from keeping it's electorate in the dark? A government with something to hide.

Try not to lose sight of that simple ethical truth in all of the smoke blowing around at the moment, for the sake of some sense of patriotism. A true patriot hold his government to task, the task of governing justly, and by their just actions, to earn our consent to rule us. A true patriot wants reasons to be proud of his or her country, not just a duty to show pride. So don't let them sit up there and say "we want to keep secrets, and we want to kill this guy who won't let us," without telling them, "you know, that's a pretty evil thing want. How about you tell us why you want that, and why someone who would want that deserves to rule me?" It's not just your right as a citizen, it's your duty.

                and another quote...

The very word "secrecy" is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings. We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweighed the dangers which are cited to justify it... And so it is to the printing press - to the recorder of man's deeds, the keeper of his conscience, the courier of his news - that we look for strength and assistance, confident that with your help man will be what he was born to be: free and independent."

I just started trickling that torrent, there's about 1800 seeds online right now, and another 40,000 downloading it from them. But that's just the ones who're online at the moment and seeding that particular batch of documents. That'll fluctuate depending on who's online and when, but I'd put the number of copies distributed as torrents out there at around 200 to 300 thousand based on that. Not bad for a file that went up this week.

I was just looking through the 7zip archive I posted earlier, there's some energy related stuff I've looked at, mostly confidential studies into pricing models for wind generation, and there's a really interesting letter from a CFO of an african oil company detailing an ongoing multi-billion dollar theft of oil revenue by his company and his governemnt, heavy stuff. But nothing yet on anything really juicy. I'll post anything good that pops up though.

Hey, all you awesome esm folk, who else is grateful for the flow of information, thankful for the efforts of the many in standing up to the few peacefully but with such incredible strength? Who else is sending Julian love? Who else just flat out loves what's going on here, and is encouraged and filled with confidence in his fellow man?

I was just doing a bit of online weather watching, looking for any sign of thunderstorms around tonight, totally off the wikileaks subject, and I thought, what's this huge grin I'm grinning all about? And it hit me, I'm really happy, feeling really positive about what's going with this story, where it's leading, what changes it'll help manifest in the minds of people, what questions it has people thinking about.

Just gotta remember to stay positive, even when I think about the things in the world that'll be changing soon that I don't like the way they are right now. Yes, this story is shining a spotlight on what's wrong with society, and it's going to show up some ugly sides f people's nature before it's all over, but there's so much good to focus on, so many positives to have your thoughts resonating in harmony with. Namaste.

                      Justice for Assange

If you happen to think Julian Assange is innocent, here is a defense
                      page for him:
                      Action

He is detained without being given a written statement as to what
he is charged with and is a violation of human rights.

Wiki Leaks is false. Wiki Leaks is propaganda pure and simple! What has the site shown that we did not know already? Nothing! Apart from a couple of embarrassing emails ect.

So is he innocent? of rape maybe yes! but, of being part of the Globalists Masterplan GUILTY

All part of the plan to suppress free speech and destroy the Internet being carried out by the Obama puppet and his muppets

So now they are playing the even faker looking game of being "out to get him"

They want you to think he is an innocent angel of free speech being set up.

He is a rat! And so are the ppl he works for.

                        Best Regards

                          wikileaks

Revealing that Hillary Clinton ordered spying of UN officials? That is an
international criminal offense I believe. That is more than just an
                          "embarrassing email".

Helping to take an African presidency election out of the hands of
a corrupt thief was done with information that was NOT something that
                          we all already knew.

There are many examples but you seem to miss them.

It is possible wikileaks is part of something to have the govt's clamp down
on free speech on the internet, it wouldn't surprise me - but what you are
saying is your opinion - provide some facts so we can look at the references.

I don't know if Assange is guilty of rape or not but I want to see the
leak on the big US Bank - are you saying you do not want to see that?
                          Sincerely,

I also look forwards to the leak on this big US Bank. But I fear that the so-called financial disclosure will be focused on Iran, North Korea, Afghanistan or any other enemies of ne0con.

Let me ask a question. Who was the biggest international financier of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan? Would you be able to tell the answer from the materials which he has disclosed or he is going to disclose?
