    @Aaron
    Would you allow a countermeasures thread? It of course may draw attention to you forum, yet there are simple cost effective ways to limit the ability of the drive by peeping tom DHS units.

    Also for this retina scan business, properly selected glasses will limit the random ability to obtain these images.

    We at StifflerScientific would be happy to start and contribute to a thread on countermeasures, for at least the time it would take for them to have you take it down.

        Cell Phones

        Well I am sure 99% of all of the readers will say 'So What, I have Nothing to hide'. Indeed sad when this is said, because if you have nothing to hide you are in affect saying you are public and all can observe and follow your daily life, RIGHT?

        So that girlfriend on the side, the co-worker you slip in a moment with, or that bar where you grab a couple of cold ones before you go home on Friday Night is public knowledge, right? Oh the DVD porno store where you stop and browse the wares, public knowledge, right? Hey what about? Okay I get the point, your life is an open book and you care not about anyone looking at everything you do, right? Oh! forgot one, you drive over the speed limit and so what, no tickets so far right?

        Really, stop and get real here, you do not care about every detail of your life be known to the general public? Come on folks...

        Well our side-kick cell phone, our can not live without buddy, the tool stuck in our ear 18/7 that manages our life from medical to eating. Great device and makes our life so easy indeed. Yes! you can swipe it past a reader and get that morning coffee to get your self set for the day.

        What do you think about that great little device knowing when you even go to the bathroom, Oh you care not, okay. What about the buddy device of yours being able to report back to your auto insurance company that you do indeed drive over the speed limit 90% of the time. What about your wife knowing you are not at work and at a bar with who?

        What about the buddy following the purchases you make, no you do not need to swipe it past a reader, passive tracking.

        Hey, what about the phone on the night stand? See the picture, its capable of being turned on without you knowing and the sound in the room being monitored. No Problem, your public and have nothing to hide or keep private, right? What about when you are talking to a buddy and the boss listens in and finds out you hate his guts? No problem, you are an open book, exposed to your global community, your life belongs to all, right?

        Folks you are in trouble if you are not aware of what is going on here. You may be an open book, BUT you are not perfect and you are always in a position of exposing something that will or could affect your life, income, marriage or safety and never be stupid enough to think (you have nothing to hide).

        Your cell phone buddy is the biggest invasion and controller of society ever devised and sadly you all love it so much you could never bare to be without it.

        You want privacy?, pull the battery out. Can't track you, can't listen to you, can't monitor your purchases, can't see your playful emails to the sweet little thing two cubicles down from you.

        You got nothing to hide? God Bless You and The Best of Luck.

        Want a bit of privacy?, pull the battery when it's you and your private life.

          DrStiffler, good post. Even with older cell's before iphone you can always be triangelated by ping response. Its almost impossible to work and be on the road without being able to make or recieve calls though, and not to mention payphones have gone extinct lol.

          Everything is turning into full blown computers, our phones, tv's and cars. I'll never buy a car with GMC OnStar or anything like it. I dont need a computer to start, track, run, or diagnose my car...thats what a driver is supposed to do lol. Its not even about being paranoid, simply just being private. No one would ever have a need to track or "spy" on me but that doesnt mean its ok that they have that option.

            Thank you for starting this thread Aaron and DrStiffler - please continue . There is much more being done to people being unaware of it. As you said - it is sad since majority may even reject acknowledging this and ignore it as science fiction. Science - correct, fiction - not anymore.
            I remember people laughing when I refused to talk about certain things in enclosed places without jamming device in place and a phone being shielded. This was taking place in late 70'/early to late 80", 30 some years ago. In those 30 years science jumped from vacuum tubes to nanotech and what is possible today will sound like a script from a futuristic movie -if ever revealed.

              Apple iPhone Watches You?

              I am not surprised that this thread falls off the screen, no-one gives a hoot! Hey track me, listen to me and watch me, I'm okay with that?

              Boy we have really handed over all out rights. Thing is it will turn it's ugly head and bit you in the behind... guarantee.

                @Nadda
                Agree! I will never buy a new car just because of this. All cars in the very near future will have full tracking, recording and disabling features installed.

                Can you just imagine the trouble all this computer controlled circuitry can cause? I can and don't want it in my realm.

                Phones, great invention yes? Well let me rest all minds in peace on privacy of any type of phone. Lets go back 35 years when I was applying my electronics skills in different ways, the building of covert electronics and in those days it was a feat indeed. The first devices required strapping on a pair of climbers, going up a pole and slicing into a drop, run the tap down the pole and connect to a battery controlled recorder with HiZ tap unit.

                We then moved to the brave step of actually going into building or yards and placing a tap on the demarc. When here we were down to very small xmitters that would run on a mill or two and go 300-500 feet where we would have a van or location where the receiving/recording equipment was placed.

                Tracking vehicles at the time required modification of Sony 5" portable TV's and building small chirp xmitters that were attached to vehicle undersides with magnets. At first we used loop antenna fro location, later as receiver sensitivity improved we went to a two antenna system that did not draw the attention the loop did. The technology was so new to the private sector that one of my devices shut down in very cold weather while the auto was stopped. I was required to move up a dark alley, pull the unit and retune to offset for the freq shift from the cold. I was seen leaving the back of the vehicle and the local police were called. They looked over the auto an found a small metal box with a ring antenna held to the cars gas tank. Guess what they had no clue and brought in the bomb people until they determined what it was. Funny thing was they took the device and examined it and determined it was on a State Police frequency (it was not) so they decided the SP was watching the subject.

                Tracking improved so much from then that we could install a tracker on the autos own antenna system. Today you would track via some bird in the sky (sat or drone).

                Back to phones in the early years. You could tap a phone from a switching center (time and effort) and many hard wired bridges were in place for some of those three letter groups out there. When ESS came into vogue, duck soup to monitor. Phone companies will never admit it, nor will those three groups, but from any phone on the regional (worldwide now) network a person could (bridge, redirect, terminate or busy out) any other phone on the system. Just think of how far this was from climbing a pole and hanging a wire?

                Now any phone or any internet connection. The comm centers at some agencies now rival NASA's flight control centers.

                Cell phones, remember some years back the first offering of Friends and Family Plans? You opted in and were able to track anyone else in your group. Sold as a real feature for (you all) but was a test bed far more sinister. The first systems were E911 which did used tower and time triangulation in the name of 911 location (again for you folks, to save you). Well the industry knew that the phone manufactures were close to a good GPS for inside of the phones so they were not into this crude method and did drag their feet until we obtained the built in systems. Think you can turn this off? I have a bridge for sale also you might fall in love with.

                Today we are so far from the systems used 35 years ago (and even they worked) that it is without dedicated effort to hide and maintain you privacy from even a few of you protectors.

                Maybe we can get into RFID's later as the thread moves forward (if it does and is allowed to).

                I can't help on anything that is not public knowledge someplace as this is a fine line to walk when you enter this particular cornerstone of our slavery.

                  Active and Passive Covert Electronic Circuits

                  In a few of my posts here I speak of battery operated devices used in covert electronics devices and even today that does happen, although that it is in the minority.

                  You can find Passive devices, devices that either do not even resemble any form of electronic device or devices that do indeed look electronic but do not have a known power source.

                  The best example of a passive monitor is the unit embedded in the US Seal in the US Embassy for what was reported as the Russians;

                  Radiofrequency MASINT - encyclopedia article - Citizendium

                  Here we have only a resonant cavity, no transistors, no resistors, no diodes, no capacitors (well in the traditional sense anyway). We have a MW cavity and diaphragm. Exciter the cavity from external MW Source, diaphragm vibrates with sound energy and we have a covert listening device. Thus is born the RFID only far simpler.

                  So a passive device, what comes to mind, well we call them RFID now in most cases, that free pass tag you wave to buy gas, the credit card you wave to buy you morning coffee. Think about it, how many passive tracking devices do you have on or near your person at this time. 10-40, no way right?

                  Your shirt (if you wear one) in the lapels are you sure its just all plastic collar stiffeners or could it be something else? Maybe your belt, jockey shorts, bra, shoes, wallet and all its contents. Well I would guess that you could find at least 5 if not 50 depending on you and your activities.

                  Lets look at a fictional line of thought. You go to a local retail store and buy a shirt and tie using your credit card or you write a check or used a debit card. Scanner reads RFID's in the shirt and tie placing your name with the item keys in a database. Later in the week you walk into a new mens clothing store to look around, a clerk walks up and says, 'Hello Mr. Smith, How can I help You'. Seem impossible, would you be upset, would you care, or would you love the attention.

                    Probable Cause!

                    "He has a gun(s) in his car/truck"

                    Forget probable cause and thank the Patriot Act. When will we have enough and speak up in a way that we grab their attention, or do we really care?

                        Ah yes welcome to 1984 where war is peace and slavery is freedom where invading another country is a “kinetic military action” or the use of the use of the military in police affairs is OK and to have the government sexually grope someone in the name of safety is considered normal.

                        What I see happening is when the average dumded down sheeple, without any real comprehension of what freedom is really all about, is told that his trusted itty-bitty cell phone can be remotely turned on without his knowledge, that government can then listen into any of his conversations, that it can download all his information and can know his location at all times he about goes in to information overload his eyes glaze over and then resorts to complete denial. This has to be a Star Wars fantasy “I have been told my government doesn’t do that!” I trust my government and of course “I have nothing to hide.”

                        Which only proves what the “powers that be” already know and that is the most obedient slaves are the ones that think they are free.
