The only way to produce that kind of power is with a small nuclear reactor. It is not impossible; only impracticle. And no a laser of that magnitude could only be found mounted inside a USAF jumbo plane. (designed to take down ICBM).

So, 1000 of these condensers are capable to give 1.6 000 000 000 W in a split of a second, and we talk about discharging energy in a bit of a moment.

It does make great difference, ain't it?

But, how these vuv torchs available on the market (which are allegedly capable to give a few billions of watts) really works i still do not know...
