Suggestion for a new subforum in the Renewable Energy forum

I noticed in the Renewable Energy forum that there are quite a few threads asking electrical and electronic related questions. May I suggest that we create an Electrical/Electronic Q&A subforum in the Renewable Energy forum where these questions can be addressed? You could also have a sticky thread providing links to documentation that give an introduction to electrical, electronic and power electronic theory.

Or we could create a Technical Q&A thread where in addition to electrical and electronics questions relating to mechanics, chemistry, metalworking, etc can be addressed.

I know I joined here a year or so ago and had no idea what all the shorthand was about. Nowadays, I use the same words ! 'Slayer exciter', 'tranny switcher', 'Penny oscillator', 'L3 coil', 'SSG', 'stovetop cell'...and entirely as most people around here talk on a daily basis.

But, along with generally mainstream electronics terminology, what to make of the above if new ?
