I was brushing my teeth on day and I noticed that my gums were growing. This is one of the possible side effect of the drug. I have good teeth and gums so I stopped taking it because of this, But reading your post made me think that if you are haveing problems with a receeding gum line, you could possible take this for a while and make them grow back.

Will have to see how it goes, I thought it's at least worth trying before going for more extreme methods. Now after a few weeks of use I do think that my gums actually do feel a bit better, but it also might be just placebo. The first few days my gums actually felt quite weird though, almost sore, so I almost stopped using it, but it soon faded away and now they do feel a lot better.. not sure what was causing the effect.

Anyway, I have the whole tube to go, so plenty of time to test. At the moment I'm willing to try anything than regular tooth paste.
