    Hi Rhozzi,

The kernel needs to be taken with care, and just very few daily. Yes, they are inside the hard shell, but it should be possible to buy them as is thgough a health food shop. Regular almonds are also very good.

The Essiac tea has to be taken in small doses first, and then slowly up the dosage, it will state very clearly on the package how to brew it and use it.

    Best of luck!

Some of the docs may be so brainwashed that they actually believe they are doing the best possible....these are the ones that have lost their common sense/reasoning ability.

Other docs know what they are doing, but choose, sometimes at the expense of the health of their customer, to protect their own livelihood.

It is our individual responsibility to NOT turn over our health to a doctor, but to use their knowledge as a resource in taking care of ourselves. Yes, we may sometimes use their services, but knowing that they are in a catch-22, we would be fools to trust them with our health.

It may seem like a crude analogy, but if you think about it, it is really pretty accurate....they (docs) are like mechanic for the body. If my truck starts acting up, I am going to probably get several mechanics to look at it and get some sort of consensus between them and my own knowledge/research before I let one of them start working on it.

Modern medicine should be termed "crisis medicine", after all in a crisis these are the guys you want. But that is not where the money is, it's in treating long term diseased conditions and that is where todays medical profession falls flat. The top 3rd and 4th killer in the US is testament to that. However we can't blame the general polulace as the white coat and stethascope is blue printed into our brains as the image that will help when you are sick. BIG MISTAKE and only long term education is going to change that, but as there are no takers in funding this campaign, the white collar drug lords will legally be allowed their unabated killing spree.

I told him that in the past, my habit was to never drink anything after dinner but that after a urinary tract infection, I drink whenever I get thirsty and pretty much drink water every night after dinner now. When I asked him about lycopene (which I've read helps reduce the swelling), he said it hasn't been proven to be effective. He suggested Avodart. I incredulously asked if he was serious, start taking a drug to avoid getting up once during the night? Oh, yes, he was serious. I'm wondering, how detrimental can two-three minutes of lost sleep be?
Hi Bill! Just a little anecdote, my father has been taking PUMPKIN SEEDS most of his life, he's in his 80's and has NEVER had a single prostate problem! All other men I know of his age have had prostate problems. (Now I do wonder why oh why are prostates built to have problems? )

Well studies also seem to show that pumpkin seeds work because of the selenium and hence maybe you could just take an artificial selenium supplement instead and blahblahblah. Guys, why take artificial anythings when the all natural, the-way-nature-intended-it thing works just fine? Besides which, it's so much more fun just to munch on a handful of pumpkin seeds every day rather than swallow a pill anyways. A handful is all it takes!

Thanks, Serena. I started eating a handful of pumpkin seeds a day a few days after I visited the doctor. Read the first few pages of this article for more eye opening information about medical practices around the world.
