Medications are dosed relative to body weight with little consideration that there might be big physiological differences.
This was true BEFORE medications were applied strictly for the cash returns.
Medications today are prescribed for the flimsiest reasons just to generate profits.
Oxycontin being the most well known example.
BIG pharma is a big investor in the junk food industry to ensure that they have lots of future customers.
