What do you know about Ionic detoxing?

I heard someone talk of using a ionic detox foot bath, that his friend
brought over twice.. and he said it did him noticeable good and will be purchasing one.

What do you know about this ionic detoxing via the feet?
I only just now heard about it and have not researched it at all.

I did some research and confirmed what I had thought was the
claim to fame of this detoxing or water color change.
It's just a chemical reaction that would happen without your feet
in the water .. the water would still change colors, etc.

The color change is Snake oil, a sales pitch ....

I'm sure if you sat watching the water around your feet change color
and where told it was because of toxins exiting your feet ..
without knowing otherwise, it would horrify you into wanting one.

As that saying goes "Seeing is believing" .. but
what is it really you are seeing is the question you must ask yourself.
