Hi Noises! Great to see you on here!
Anyways personally I believe that the 2 absolutely greatest scourges that have brought more tears and suffering to humankind than anything else, is judging someone to be inferior to someone else for whatever reason (for example, thinking one person is superior to someone else because they have more talent, are more beautiful, belongs to a "superior" religion/race/skin colour/nationality/continent, etc.) and judging people by their appearance (ie. thinking that a youthful, beautiful/handsome, sexy, slender person is superior to someone who looks less youthful, beautiful etc. etc., or looking down on someone because you think they're ugly or fat, are disfigured or have deformations or scars, etc.).
So having said that, even though, hopefully at any rate, most of us here on this forum know better than to judge people by their appearance or, even worse, think that someone is inferior because of their appearance, unfortunately the world isn't so forgiving and tolerant. Unfortunately, in the world, people are indeed judged by their appearance all the time. So it's normal that people would want to have a pleasant appearance, look younger, have younger skin, etc. Because when you look nice people are nicer to you, they'll open doors for you, they'll give you things that you were asking for that they would refuse to give to someone else whom they consider ugly, etc.
Especially women. Lots of times women are rejected for a job just because they have wrinkles, or aren't as slender as the top models. We even see that on TV, how on TV shows they show the interviewer rejecting a woman because she has wrinkles and is overweight, and then he will hire a young thing with lots of curves and smooth skin.
And I imagine that women who are less attractive are also rejected for other things as well, although I can't think of what things they could be at the moment, because in my simple life the only things I can imagine someone desiring to get is either a good job or a great relationship hehe!
Anyways, asides from that, if it happens that the woman (or man, but not as often) not only wants to heal skin that has a little bit of wrinkles or some blemishes, but it also happens that the person has a really disfiguring condition which can be healed with the right natural treatment, well of course I can perfectly understand and imagine that they would be moved to tears when they finally find that treatment.
There are so many such conditions out there, they wreck your life and yet they can be so easily cured using the right combination of herbs, oils and essential oils. Some examples could be really severe acne. Now, you might think there's nothing really wrong with a bit of acne, after all everyone gets a few pimples sometimes. But I'm talking about really big acne, the kind that covers your whole face with huge pus-filled (okay not meaning to gross anyone out! ) white and blackheads and red rashes. Or conditions that not only look bad but feel bad too, like eczemas or psoriasis or rashes like that, they not only look unhealthy and awful, they also hurt, I think.
Or things that really clearly are sick, like my son's ringworm. Not only does ringworm look most unsightly and definitely make you look sick, they ARE an illness.
So, vanity isn't only about looking pretty. I think deep down people associate good looks with good health, if you look pretty people think you're healthy, and if your skin looks awful, well you've probably got health problems! Beauty is more than skin deep. Yeah!
