  • Induction cooking

    Hey everybody,
I post in the renewable energy section and i just keep lirking on this section from time to time . I just brought an Induction cooking unit with input upto 2000W . The cooking vessel doesnt heatup but everything inside it does and its supposed to be 93% energt efficient whereas 45% for gas powered cooking units .

Just wanted to know if anybody else has experience with such induction cooking equipment especially healthwise . I abondoned using microwave cooking a year ago , just want to be sure before using Induction cooking as both use some sort of electro magnetism ...

    Love to all ,

    Induction Heating Stove

Sounds interesting but I'd think an induction heating stove would be more
    efficient than that.

A typical heating element stove is 100% efficient already.

There are some induction heating heaters (for heating a room) at over
    1.0 COP.

Do you have pictures or links to your stove?
    Sincerely,
    Aaron Murakami

Thanks for your reply Aaron . Here is the link in wikipedia about induction cooking: " Induction cooker - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia "

[induction-cook-top-pic-3.0] - Rs.3,995.00 : Prestige TTK " There is not much information at this site but i heard such cooktops are common in USA .
