Vibration of Stones

Come walk with me
Along the misty shore
Together we'll leave our imprint
In the sand
Toe wiggles reminding us
of Childhood times
Sunfilled days in
Sandcastle Heaven
Filled with Stone People
Who rise up from the Sea
Sharing their time, speaking
In silent vibration.

Come! Listen to the story
Sand pebbles gathered round
Bathed by hugs from the sea
Holding on in anticipation
Becoming a child's precious imaginings
Sandy roadways, castle moats
Little stone people, floating in boats
Enjoying the laughter and giggles they hear
Family pleasures, memories so dear
Captured in photographic moments
Vibration of love and joy.

Come walk with me
And together we'll share
Treasured memories along the shore
Moments of quiet, silence and bliss
Roar of the ocean, crashing of waves
Nature's creation abounds
Rock formations arise from the mist
Reminding us in stoic silence
To build sand castles of our own
Bless one another, smile of remembrance
Childhood fantasies
When stone people spoke and we listened!

Rest A Moment

This poem I wrote a couple of days ago after my daily trip to the lake shore.

Rest a Moment

Perfected creation presents itself
In glorious splendour
The flight of the gull along the waters edge
Trust in the abundance of Mother Earth
Provision of food and shelter
The womb of comfort

If I could imagine a most glorious scene
It could not be better than this
Sun-kissed sparkling water shimmering in its bliss
Warm sandy beaches
Tawny brown peacefulness
Stunning late summer scenes

Winds gently stirring the waters pulse
Lifting up in rhythmic timing
To lap upon the shore
Ripple upon ripples
Vibrating in harmony
With the beat of my grateful heart

A moment of remembrance
This time at the shore
So significant in our insignificance
Each adding to the beauty of created illusion
We are all One
Together in a journey to discover US.

Wow!

I am loving all the pictures of the ocean! Wow! I just love the ocean so much, it is like one of my favorite places to be! Although I never thought of the North Eastern Ocean being so beautiful! Sorry, I have never even been to the North Eastern Coast... and usually all I ever see is a cold windy experience when I think of that coastline! But your photos show such a serene place! Hmmmmm! I think I will have to explore that coast some day!

I do have to tell you that my favorite beaches are on the east coast, just a lot farther south! Hehe! I am a bit of a tropical Island girl... I guess it just fits so well with my California girl upbringing... That and my parents loved to vacation in the islands when I was growing up! Ahhh that turquoise water and the warm gentle afternoon tropical rain... never having to wear a coat! Ahhhhh heaven!

So if I visit the Northern East coast in the summertime will it be warm and serene as your pictures show it? I have this thing... I don't like to be cold and I can not stand coats! I can imagine that you now understand my desire to return to California! People around her get frustrated with me because I believe that a winter coat is only for hanging on my skiis at the bottom of the mountain as like a name marker for my poles... I rarely wear one, and then I complain because it I'm cold! LOL!

Hey, I can come vacation there during hurricane season in the Islands! Hehee!

Now hot weather is like totally cool! A few years ago a friend of mine and I took fifteen girls hiking in 103 degree weather, and had a blast! It was so much fun! LOL!

Well I just wanted to thank you for sharing such a sense of peace and tranquility with all of us!

Loving all the beautiful photography! Now I just need to spend sometime to catch up on all of Maggie's poems! That would be really good for me!

I still have not figured out how to post my pics in my messages... I might need some help with that! yea I know I can build a web page and put it up on the net, but I have not taken the time to figure out how to insert my pictures into my messages!

Great beach photographs! I too live by the beach, it's such a Joy and Pleasure to see! Just amazing. It's also great to see different places, can't underestimate exploring with someone else!

Last night was very special, magic in the air! I stayed out quite a long time from sunset to dusk, at the "tree that lived". It was just Gorgeous. I hope these pics aren't going to be too big.

Full Moon Wonder

Hi Sonora,
Last night when I got home I was in awe at the sky and really, really, really wanted a pic of that sunset and the moon. My camera did not do them justice as I could only get pics from my deck - not ideal. Then I opened up your Natural Uplifters and had to smile I am so glad you are in my life and knew exactly what I wanted to see .

Hi Sharyn,
So glad you enjoyed it! The images it brings to my mind of children playing along the shore -just make me smile. Here at our lake, though the view is beautiful, it sure can't compare with these pics of Vineyard Nancy's.
