Thank you, the beach has been my saviour many a time. That particular little stretch means a lot to me, a lot has gone on in my mind while there. I also clean it and right now it is cleaner than it's ever been. Was a time it was littered with stuff, that is why I suggested "clean seas" for PW1 because it is close to my heart. I am priviliged to live here, but it's not a tropical beach nobody would sunbathe here unless it was a very hot summers day and even then the water is freezing. lol. That water comes right in from the Irish Sea. Brr!

Pamela, out of interest, do you do commissions? How much are they & how big are they please? (just to keep in mind for the future, I was doing a reiki chakra balancing exercise last night before sleeping, and half way through I started thinking about this lovely forum and your art and suddenly had a beautiful visualisation of my own home, in the living room, and there's a beautiful painting of yours of a spirited white horse - I was WOW that's gorgeous! And people who come to the house are positively uplifted by it too!)

Gorgeous. Are we allowed to print them out and frame them in little picture form please, just to hang by the bed? Pretty please?

Prices...

But, Honey...you are asking the BIG question when it comes to pricing...

The current prices for my watercolor portraits are stated on my watercolor website and those prices are usually the same for the still life and flower paintings. These prices are determined by the size of the painting (which never exceed 22x36), as well as the detail involved.

The new acrylic paintings that have been posted here on this thread are also determined by the size and how detailed the subject is and are a bit more expensive because they are created on canvas rather than paper. It is a matter of how long I expect it will take to create the finished piece and if it is a commissioned painting, the price is settled on with the client before I begin working on it. Here is a general idea... The price of the most recent acrylic, "Dilly Dahlia", 18x24, is $950.00. This painting took approximately one month to complete. A watercolor for the same, or similar subject and size would be $800.00. The painting, "Illusions of Tulips" is almost 4 times as large as the "Dilly Dahlia" painting and the price for that original is $3600.00.

But.... Kevin and I are now in the process of working out the details and will soon be offering high-quality prints of much of my work to be made available here at ESM! You can be sure that those prices will be much less expensive than the original paintings! And Honey...in the meantime, I have no problem with you printing out some little ones!!! Knock yourself out, Baby-Doll!!!

Thanks Pamela for explaining! I somehow missed that info on your site I am not suprised at the cost because they are worth every penny!! In that case I will not print them (got a tiny little printer hehe) I will wait to get a copy. Thank you!

You could be describing the waters and beaches of Maine...I have grown up spending time by the Ocean in Maine and have brought my children and husband there as well. (every summer since forever) To us the water is supposed to be bone-chillingly cold...doesn't seem right if it isn't...and we resonate with the rock cliffs and blue-gray water...

Your beach photos remind me of my special places in Maine...

So: when can I move in?

A soothing part of my world...

Hi again, My Lovies...

This is a very personal painting that has been sitting in my studio "waiting' for me for several months... It was the very first in the new, acrylic style and is a loose interpretation of the field behind my home that leads out to the 35 acres of woods and meadowlands where I walk my golden retriever, Lija, every day. Beyond the line of trees is where I go to find my daily dose of healing and peaceful serenity. Grace had posted this on her photo page at PI months ago, but for some reason, I personally didn't feel ready to share it with the world and when I looked to it the other night, after viewing the Ho'oponopono module for the first time, it struck me why.... I realized that I simply wasn't finished with it. So... I put my "Rose of Sonora" painting aside for some moments and worked on it into the wee hours until I knew for sure that it was "done"... I do believe that this painting has forgiven me for putting it aside for so long, just as I have forgiven myself for neglecting it...

Although it is a very simple painting, I find it exquisitely healing to look to and I hope that it brings all of you wonderful Darlings the same sense of peace and soothing calmness that it brings to me.

SJ, your beach picture are wonderful! I love the water and the sand, it is so peaceful. I don't think they are to dark....it sort of adds to the quiet feel of the picture. Beautiful!

Wow! What a Beautiful & Peaceful piece Pamela. To me, I see a line of fir trees, with a field in front with a sunset shining from rain puddles. I saw a sight just like that a week or so ago..stunning

And I can absolutely tell that it was finished in absolute Divine perfect timing! So the painting had nothing to forgive I am positive of that
