It makes you just look and look and the warmth I see is helping me - it's 29° outside now in Tennessee! Pamela!!! WOW!

Pamela! WOW! That is so totally awesome! Words can not quite explain it! You are so totally talented! I am like you, and love to experiment with many mediums! This year I too had been working with acrylics, but also tried something totally new to me... opaque watercolors! Hmmm... I do have to say it is fun as the way you can move them across the page and really blend and play... They do have their challenges too though, and I need a lot more practice with them...

Right now though as I am very soon going to be moving into my own place with my kids! I am very close to being out of the shelter, where I will be able to play with paint again... looking forward to getting out my pastel chalk and even playing with some oil pastels... With my faeries and such... My mind is already working on some works I just have to do!!! I can not wait to share them with you!

Well I just can not wait to see your next work! WOW! You are soooo amazing! I am sooo enjoying finally having creative friends!!! Your paintings is just so awesome... I can not say that enough! Blessings and HUGS! Sj zartgirl

Christmas Writing

With the Christmas season at hand, I have been doing some writing, remembering Christmas' past.
The first one is:

Created Memories of Christmas

Twinkling lights on the Christmas tree
Like energy fairies winking at me
The village scene shines with a quiet glow
Peaceful solitude imagined within
A blanket of snow gently falls
Billowing softness covering all
The silence of a cold crisp winters night
Crunching snow on an evening walk
Garland cradles front porch rails
Stars a blaze in windows seals
Sharing smiles with passers by
The smell of pine caresses the senses
Reminding me of days gone by
Bright shining innocence in the eyes of a child
Gazing up as the parade goes by
Candles burning smelling sweet
Gingerbread houses with candy cane deer
Hot chocolate comfort and warm fuzzy quilts
Moments of tenderness shared
Reading together of kindness and caring
Remembering others with generous love
Giving and sharing ourselves
It is about family and friends together
A moment in time


The second one is:
Focus Defined at Christmas Time

It is not in the shopping
The frenzy, the rush
The bustling madness
The getting of stuff.

My focus defined is on observing the joy
The excitement and anticipation of each girl and boy
The taste of hot cider
Laughter and touch
Smiling as we remember each Christmas past

If we had but one more Christmas to celebrate
My focus defined would be
The sharing , the laughter
The family gathered round
Playing on the floor with new gadgets we have found
Wearing silly hats
Resting on the sofa after turkey dinner
Eating pumpkin pie, but only a sliver
Being more than overfilled with this ultimate joy
Reflecting on memories that are captured and recorded
Reminding us each where our focus is defined
Family and friends
And quality time.

Grace! Wow! I really loved connection you made with each of my faeries... I will look at them tomorrow and see if you found them all... I also just finished one and his name is Prosperity, which I found interestng because he is very young looking unlike Fire and Water... Ahhhh Fire is missing! Not sure if I posted him here will have to check, and then I have a pink faerie I working on as we speak... Then as I was reading here wind started coming to mind and the vision started! What fun! So healing too, as this afternoon I was dragging, and every muscle hurt and I had the chills... Then I started creating the pink faerie and Now I feel strong again! Filled with a new energy!!!
