Absolutely Fabulously Awesome! Very cool, I just love it! The colors again are fantastic... Okay I have not seen a single painting of yours that I do not just love! But these last two are very special.

      • OMG This was funny!

So today I was at Worksource (employment office) here in Walla Walla, and had the most interesting conversation with my case worker that I meet with once a week.

He is an X cop, and was talking about how well he is at reading people, and if they are being truthfull... Except when it comes to ARTISTS! He was saying that you could fill a room half with criminals and half with ARTISTS, and he could not tell which was which! He says it is because they just don't react the same as the rest of the world does. For instance if you ask most people a question they will answer you straight up and quickly if they are telling you the truth, but if they hiding something they will pause and look away.

Now when you ask an artist a question like that... They will look away and ponder the question, and may even wander off not giving an answer right then, but some time later the artist will figure out an answer (regardless if it makes sense to say my case worker). Now the answer could come a day or two later! I just had to laugh, cause when I am interviewing and such, I have the hardest time keeping eye contact, cause I have to ponder each question! Hehehee! Even simple questions like where do you live ( say passing through customs at a border entering or leaving this country can trip me up if I do not really concentrate hard and am prepared for the question).

He went on to say that after getting to know a number of artists that he has come to know them and understand them and appreciate us more! Still could not pick out the artist from the criminals in a room! We just don't fit any boxes, as he put it! I was laughing cause I work very hard to dress conservative when I go there and I am looking for work, and still when I enter the room everyone stops and looks at me... I stand out! My conservative is still whacky compared to the rest of Walla Walla!

It was cool cause we also got to talking a little about energy stuff! He is a cool person to talk to!

I just had to share this story with all of my creatives here on the forum! Oh and remember if in the future you are face to face with someone like a police officer, and they are asking you questions... Well you know! Actually I think I just figured out why I get searched at every airport I fly out of! Makes sense now! I must seem suspicious! LOL

        Well Blessings and HUGS

        • What If...

Sharing one of my newer poems with those I hold dear - all of you here on ESM. Have a wonderful day imagining

          What If…

What if in this holographic dance in time and space
          Freeze frame came into play
Reversing time but for a moment
          What would you change

What if in that one speck of time
          We manifested peacefulness
          A moment of silent reflection
          Gratitude and joy

What if we took the time
          To see with clear vision
          Those in our presence
          In their truth and wholeness

What if when the moment ended
And we moved on our way
We brought forth in our NOW memory
What we had seen this day

          Would it change -
          A thought
          A shared experience
          A remembrance of a time

When we saw truth and wholeness
          In everyone in that moment

And then what if we made it
          NOW!

          Moments of Imaginings

          • Pamela, your work is STUNNING! I could list all I love about it, but I will keep it short....I love everything about your paintings!!

Zartgirl, it is funny you mentioned that when you cross the border you have to concentrate on where you actually live to give a response....I have to do the exact same thing...I rehearse it in my head before I get there!! good to hear that other people are like this!

Moxie, I love your new poem!! It reminds me of Eckhart Tolle-the power of now....you have captured what he is trying to explain!! It is a very powerful feeling to be in the NOW.

Oh my gosh! I resemble that remark! My daughter used to think I was mad at her when my eyes cast her way as I was thinking. I was far away in some other world not aware I was staring directly at her. My furrowed brow and squinted eyes were, apparently, pretty intimidating. She'd say "Why are you looking at me like that!" Which would startle me out of my reverie totally unaware of the trauma she'd been sitting through. Poor thing. Sure glad she still likes me but must be somewhat scarred by that

"Delicate Being" 9x12 Watercolor on Paper

                Pamela,
When I first looked at this painting I kept thinking it's a faerie dress! Well then tonight I was going back down looking at your different paintings, and I Noticed the name of the painting "Delicate Being"! OMG! No I thought it must be the faerie herself! LOL! I don't know why I see a dress in your flower, but it is definitely devine and especially a delicate being! LOL! It is hard to explain my facination with faeries... Goes back a long ways, before I even realized I had one! Dragons too! LOL!

                • I'm Back...

                  Hello, My Sweetest Ones...

As some of you know, I am going through some VERY trying times at the moment and because of this I have been unable to make any posts for quite some time. I cannot tell you all how much I have missed contributing to this wonderful forum, but I will be doing my best to keep up with all of you Darlings as the days unfold.

I am currently working on a big project which will take a good deal of time to complete, so I have had to put aside continuing work on the collection of paintings that I have been posting here in the recent past. In the meantime, I will do some posting of some of my older pieces, some of which will be available here at ESM as prints sometime in the near future.

Posting some of these older paintings will be healing to me and I hope they will be to you as well. Part of my current situation has made it necessary for me to be apart from my beautiful Lija and I cannot put into words how much my heart aches from this separation. So here is a painting of this precious creature who I am sure is missing me as deeply as I miss her. May looking to it fill your hearts with love and compassion for all that is innocent in the world.

"Lija, Sleeping" Watercolor on Paper 9x12

My deepest appreciation goes out to all of you wonderful souls who have been looking to and enjoying my work. I cannot put into words how you have touched me with your comments. Do know that I am sending all of you Love, Light and Blessings and that your Love and Support means the world to me.

                  With MUCH Love and Gratitude,

                  Pamela

                      • Pamela...

I just want to send you my best wishes on your project you are working on! Lija is beautiful! Who could not love a lab! I have a lab shephard mix at my X's, I go visit him from time to time... The dog not the X! LOL! Moses thinks I am Dr. Doolittle and can talk to him! The scarry thing is I really do know what he is tryng to tell everyone.

My X was complaining about the fact that Moses opens the door and lets himself in and out, but never shuts the door. I talked to him one weekend I was there dog sitting, and now he closes the door! Well at least when I am there... He still won't do it for my X! He is an awesome Dog!

Hmmmmm... Stephen talks about sending multiple selves places.... I don't know how to do that, but maybe you could send a multiple self to be with Lija! Hmmm... As much as you love her, I bet you left one at home with her already (home as with whereever she is staying).

                        It is a beautiful painting!
                        Blessings my friend

                              • OMG!! How beautiful!

I remember seeing a segment on 60 Minutes years ago about painting elephants. However, at that time I believe they were only painting abstracts. This is amazing!! I wonder if they are painting what they see in their minds or if this is something someone taught them to do?

Regardless, they seem to be pretty happy to paint. I noticed the elephant's tail was swinging back and forth happily as he or she was coming out to start painting.

                                Thanks for posting Grace
