'Get it all on record now - get the films - get the witnesses -because somewhere down the road of history some bastard will get up and say that this never happened'

Thats crazy, this is unfortunately why we need so many regulations, if the companies selling this glued meat would simply be responsible and put awareness labels on the food and sell it for what it is I wouldnt have a problem with it. Instead they hide the dangers and sell it at premium price.
Irresponsibility is a empidemic these days, from all classes.
Nice information shared about the glued meat,.I have to say, some of those little filets wrapped in bacon he was cutting from that tube sure did look good. Sort of decieving I'd say.
I'm not trying to promote vegetarianism but sometimes I just don't feel like having meat for dinner - According to Wikipedia: Household ammonia is dilute ammonium hydroxide, which is also an ingredient of numerous other cleaning agents, including many window cleaning formulas. In addition to use as an ingredient in cleansers with other cleansing ingredients, ammonium hydroxide in water is also sold as a cleaning agent by itself, usually labelled as simply "ammonia". It may be sold plain, lemon-scented (and typically colored yellow), or pine-scented (green).
In industry, ammonium hydroxide is used as a precursor to some alkyl amines, although anhydrous ammonia is usually preferred. Hexamethylenetetramine forms readily from aqueous ammonia and formaldehyde. Ethylenediamine forms from 1,2-dichloroethane and aqueous ammonia.[4]
In furniture-making, ammonium hydroxide was traditionally used to darken or stain wood containing tannic acid. After being sealed inside a container with the wood, fumes from the ammonium hydroxide react with the tannic acid and iron salts naturally found in wood, creating a rich, dark stained look to the wood. This was commonly used during the arts and crafts movement in furniture- a furniture style which was primarily constructed of oak and stained using these methods. [5]
Ammonium hydroxide is also used in the meat packing industry. Some companies treat their beef "with a pH enhancement process that forms ammonium hydroxide in the finished product."

McD's bowed out of using the pink slime ammonia poison because of the attention they got now the govt is buying it to feed it to children in schools. Saw this today!
I hope parents take action, visit their schools and demand that this kind of garbage food is not fed to the kids. Unbelievable!
Thanks for sharing this information but its doesn't mean to leave meat on the behalf of this reason. If you buy fresh meat rather than frozen then you will not face this problem in future.

This problem doesn't apply exclusively to frozen meat but fresh as well. Unless you meant the one you grow in your own backyard or wild game. Yeah, that's fresh...
Thanks
