Frequencies-Why do cats have 9 lives?
The amazing ability of cats to heal quickly may very well be related to the frequencies of their purring.
I first read about studies relating the frequency of cats purring and accelerated healing over 2 decades ago.
Below is a quote from Scientific American, I would be interested if there are any credible studies linking frequencies from purring with healing.
From Scientific American-
Scientists have demonstrated that cats produce the purr through intermittent signaling of the laryngeal and diaphragmatic muscles. Cats purr during both inhalation and exhalation with a consistent pattern and frequency between 25 and 150 Hertz. Various investigators have shown that sound frequencies in this range can improve bone density and promote healing.
