  • Cognitive Dissonance, Emotional Release, & Yoga

I am discovering that as my instructions become more and more specific, cognitive dissonance produces less anxiety and fear. There is also less of a compulsion to obsessively analyze every thought, whether resonant or dissonant.

The mental/emotional friction is not drawn out over several days like the old cognitive dissonance. The friction comes to a quick combustion and the most intense part occurs over a few hours, with a definite peak.

I had such an experience watching my program a couple hours before attending a yoga class on Sunday. During the yoga class the movement of energy facilitated some core emotional release. I sobbed noiselessly; the crying came in several waves. I had some nearly wordless thoughts and images that showed me a new understanding that I had reached in what has been in one sense a ten-year-long issue, and in another sense, a lifetime issue. I realized in a moment the very type of changes I would need to make to truly change the course my life had been on. These changes became clarification requests to the programmers.

    Everything feels different now.

    Wow Belle,

Sounds like major progress. I think I remember someone else posting about tears during yoga. In that case I think it was the mood mod producing tears of joy.

But in either case, it seems yoga is a great way to get in touch with oneself

I'm on the platinum but I have one of the standard modules within it (self esteem).
