  • PATHS and lucid dreaming

    Hi

I was wondering if I should implement some lucid dreaming instructions into my Platinum module. I thought that it would help me in visualizing and problem solving my goals and affirmations.

I do get some lucid dreams sometimes but they don't last very long. It would help if I could have longer lucid dreams that could even tie into the synchrocity part of my PATHS module.

    Any thoughts?

    lucid dreaming

    Hi Kiran,

There are some sets of lucid dreaming instructions but have not shown to be very reliable yet. I have used them off and on quite a few times and I have had a handful of lucid dreams with them but it would be ideal for it to be a regular thing every morning.

If you have a custom package, I would add them in and give them a try. They might work better for you than they did for me.

There are a few things that you can do that are proven to help stimulate not only lucid dreaming but the length of time you stay in a lucid dream.

Throughout the day, look around and look for "dream signs" and ask yourself "Am I dreaming?" "Is this a dream?" , etc.. Maybe tell yourself every time you look at a light switch you'll do this, every time you talk on the phone, every time you see yourself in a mirror, etc... That will boost the change you will ask the same in the dream.

One of the most powerful things I have done to remain in a lucid dream, which I can do for extremely extended periods of time is to look at my hands when I feel things are shifting and I'm losing not only lucidity but the dream as well. I learned this from the Carlos Castaneda teachings and it actually worked. It is just one particular thing to focus on. When feeling yourself slip, look at the palms of your hands and focus intently on them with the thought in mind that you are going to remain in the dream and be lucid about it.

In one book from one lucid dreaming expert I read about 13 years ago, it recommended spinning and that worked for me when I have done that a few times. When slipping out of a dream and/or if you want to shake up the scenery, jump in the air and spin around. I'm sure just about any technique will work if you're doing it with a specific purpose in mind.

Anyway, there are some "to do" things that I can think of that might help the office more fully develop the lucid dreaming module. If I was lucid for every dream every morning from a lucid dreaming module, it would probably become my favorite even beyond the synchronicity module
    Sincerely,
    Aaron Murakami
