  • The "anger peptide"

I am searching for the biochemical or neurochemical basis for anger, and have found some interesting articles to share:

A rudimentary description of how anger is as addictive as heroin can be found here: enrichedyou.com

A book excerpt with information about how there may be no single anxiety peptide and no single anger peptide: Textbook of Biological Psychiatry - Google Book Search

Fear and anger involve different areas of the amygdala: On the Origins of Human Emotions: A ... - Google Book Search

Thanks for checking out the links. The biochemical basis for emotion is the most fascinating thing to me, and the most powerful evidence I have, in my own experience, that PATHS is definitely improving my entire relationship with myself and the world.

This does not make it always easy! You still have to do quite a bit of "work" on your insides, but this is more effective.
