[PATHS, S.A.]

We received an email last week that contained opinions of a "bright skeptic".

As a policy we do not engage in arguments or "debates" regarding proof or efficacy of PATHS...the results speak for themselves...and nobody ever really "wins" in an argument.

However, the information below is useful for those who want to understand better the hows and whys of PATHS.

It appears that the emails below are ridiculing PATHS and all the people that have experienced life changing results from it.

The proof is always in the pudding...look and listen to what people are experiencing...

It is easy to say that there may be a placebo effect in ares of attitude...but when diabetes goes away, or hot flashes disappear, and other physical issues are resolved, it becomes more difficult for the skeptics to say that PATHS does not work.

By the way, here is a great post on skeptics. Many people pride themselves in being "open minded skeptics" or "bright skeptics". Skepticism is a form of close mindedness that stifles creativity and progress.

PATHS products do not claim to be medical in nature, nor do we offer any scientifically verifiable studies. We do not compete in the traditional realm of science or allopathic medicine. We are not interested in grants, funding, sponsorship, endorsement, or acceptance from the scientific or medical community (or any Government, for that matter).

The bottom line is that for years PATHS has been helping thousands of individuals accomplish what was previously beyond their reach. It brings tears of joy to our eyes when we see someone that had diabetes become free of that devastating disease, when we see people that have suffered years from menopausal symptoms have them disappear, when we see people that have been depressed and taking medication for their hormonal imbalances
become happy, drug free and productive.

The naysayers can say whatever they want, it does not change the reality of what thousands are experiencing.

With the newer hair growth and tanning modules, it seems placebo can be ruled out. Has anyone ever gotten tanner just by thinking about it or thinking that they should get tanner?

People who do not take the time to make sure they are using PATHS correctly do not "prove" anything.

I often wonder what the response would be from an internet provider if someone called them up and said, "I'm not going to purchase your service until you can explain all the technical data of exactly how the internet works in a way that I will understand."

I think they would hear a click on the other side.

I applaud the PATHS Staff and affiliates for their patience with naysayers

Seriously I think there are levels between being a skeptic and gullible sheep...

I'm there...in between...

And I'm still waiting and hoping for that experience of thousands...and if I have to put on the sheep-suit to get there, I'm in trouble...cause I can't find that costume...

Danny, you are correct. One does not have to be skeptical or a sheep to be open-minded.

Not having any pre-conceived ideas one way or another is a great way to be open to new discoveries.

To properly use the scientific method one cannot be skeptical or gullible, just neutral so that observation can be made with an untainted/unbiased perspective.

As a human I think it's very hard to not be biased/tainted when it comes to most things...but I think it's great to know that you probably are and strive for breaking old habits of thought...

When ppl make a horrified face and say all prejudice is bad I've never really agreed with that...

If 2 horses race 9 times and one wins all nine by totally outrunning the other one I'll get the idea the winner will probably win the tenth time also...I don't think that HAS to happen but if someone asked me before the tenth race who I thought would win I'd bet on the one who already won 9 times prior...I'd see that as a higher probability...and even if I was biased believing in the 9 time winner before the race it'd be clearly observable if the 9 time loser won the tenth race even though I believed in another outcome...

As long as you don't close your eyes or put prestige or pride in predicting the outcome I don't really see the problem in prediction...

I might be wrong here but...since I've only been wrong once before I'll bet on my being right again (and for those who didn't get it, the last paragraph was a joke)

open minded vs so-called "skepticism"

It is still not generally accepted that an electric motor can be made so there is no back EMF even though it is becoming common knowledge these days how to make them.

Even while the Wright Brothers were flying in the air, professors were scribbling on the chalkboard "proof" that is was impossible.

My close friend here has an electromagnet that can pick up non-ferrous metals like gold, silver, aluminum, copper, etc... As he showed it to one of his physics professors at a local university several years back and saw it work with his own eyes, he started to scribble equations on the board. Turned around and told my friend to not waste time with it because it won't work!!

Each year there seem to be more discoveries than the last 5-10 combined and this is a continuing trend. This seems to be an exponential growth in the amount of knowledge understood by mankind and it isn't slowing down. Especially these days, we are going to see many discoveries that challenge our paradigms on a daily basis. It is common place to talk in the science magazine about worm holes as not only a hypothetical idea but as a very probably reality in our lifetime......teleportation, time travel, conscious action at a distance, 200-300mpg engines and so on...

Anyway, I've seen skin turn darker, hair grow back when there wasn't even any stubble but only smooth shiny skin, diabetes disappear in several people that I know personally, countless people who have been able to overcome insomnia for the first time in their lives after trying many other things and I could go on for hours. I know what it has done for my own family as well as all the amazing things that have happened to me as a results of PATHS.

It's like the 2005 Nobel prize in physiology.

The two guys who won it had been ridiculed by their peers for their theory.

They finally gave themselves ulcers (and cured them) in order to prove their case.

I appreciate PATHS stance on their innovative technology
It's hard to believe how we react to innovation. I learned that the "Teacher of the Year" usually gets fired later because they find out the techniques used are so successful and "go against the grain" of methods that they were taught to use. And I'm sure doubts on the results and validity as well. Ha, we don't know everything about the mind and learning just yet (but PATHS is taking us closer!)
Speaking of new methods, there is PhotoReading PhotoReading Whole Mind System Reading
Program where you can read up to 25,000 words a min. with a diff technique than regular reading -- which would be like comparing PATHS to saying affirmations to yourself everyday. The info is also remembered better - the brain seems to function more efficiently with photoreading. I haven't ordered this yet, I want to soon.

I'm glad PATHS is letting evidence from users, affiliates and forums to spread the word. Doing battle with testing results and proving that this is better than anything else out there would challenge the livelihood of all the other companies and create quite a stir.

I just have to say, I'm glad to be part of such an amazing group of people with a cutting edge technology that's improving lives with little time and effort!!! (including mine)

testing results

Hi Doug,

Actually, there has been some testing results for various projects released.

Half the people who tested the diabetes module were personal friends of mine. It worked incredibly well for virtually every single one of them except for 1 person. The most incredible results were with a 4 year old girl..a daughter of a friend of mine.

There are other results that were released in various posts online, etc...

There is a way that they can be tested...I've already conducted many, many tests and with many variations and I was lucky to be able to do it since I was an early affiliate. One thing someone can do is sign up a friend or family member with their permission but tell them nothing about what module they are signed up on. ALL information entered about them has to be absolutely correct. Load the module and play it but turn off the monitor so they can't see anything and have them listen to the sound only. Or call up the friend or family member and put the phone to the speaker for their presentation and have them listen to that and then monitor what happens with them. Ask them to report any results.

I've done this with the Ultimate Body module with a few friends and it is pretty mind blowing when they start to tell me over the next day or two how their muscles are aching as if they worked out...or the super deep sleep booster and have them tell me how it took them forever to get out of bed. The cues are in the sound as well as video so this is why it can work over the phone. Stereo is only needed for the binaural beat effect to entrain brainwaves to a lower frequency simply for relaxing. There are other modules to see easy results as other take longer.

Doug, agree with your take completely!

btw, in college I took a speed reading course...got up to 13,000 words a minute. Used it all through college but then dropped it after that. Takes regular practice to keep the skill sharp.

It IS really amazing what the mind can do. Anyone who observes someone photoreading would not begin to believe that the person is comprehending anything from the page. What basically happens is that the information is dumped directly into the brain, bypassing the conscious mind. The info read is there for recall, however, there is obviously no enjoyment in this reading process.

To give those of you who have never observed photoreading an idea of how fast 10,000 words a minute with 95% retention is- One could read a 200 page book twice in less than 10 minutes.

Once you master the basics, the most significant issue in how fast you can go is how fast you can turn the pages.
