Bizarre experience--has anyone else had this?

I had a really bizarre experience last night as I was just relaxing into sleep. This has never happened to me before on PATHS, or from any other cause.

As I was in that relaxed place just between meditation and sleep, suddenly I was jolted by an electrical, lightning bolt feeling between the hemispheres of my brain. It almost made a noise like something hitting a live power wire and getting jolted. I could literally see a multi-stranded lightning bolt thing extending from the inside of my head at the top of where my forehead is extending in a funnel shape down into the center of my head and toward the base of my skull. It was sort of a bright pale electric green color like one of those glow in the dark sticks.

This happened twice or three times, the first time was much stronger.

In a way it kind of scared me, but it was also oddly reassuring.

Today I have a dull headache, which is unusual for me.

Anybody else have this experience?

Last night I had a pretty big breakthrough with coming up with some positive beliefs about myself, and so I figure that had something to do with it.

That has to be it! It was like the animation in What the Bleep with the neuron "storm." Today I feel fine.

I had a bizarre experience when I first started PATHS.

I had watched my theatre and then started listening to some binaural tracks. I then felt a throbbing in the space between my eyebrows.

Several days later, while asleep, I felt a vibration- a small buzzing in the same area in my forehead.

I wrote to PATHS and they said it was normal - probably related to the intuition and insight module. The buzzing was located where the third eye would be.

I agree with Adrienne that it is an expansion.

I have experienced the twitching, throbbing, tickling feeling between my eyes on the forehead.

It is often associated with waking up, stimulating, boosting, etc... the 3rd eye chakra.

Thanks to everyone for weighing in on this one. I'm continuing to feel more 'hit by a bolt of lightning' in a good way since I first posted this thread, with no ill effects.
