Wow! So many exciting things happening!
I will share more later today or tomorrow, but just have to share this quickly right now.
This morning I found out that myself and my wife have been on an experimental "Luck Module" for the last 6 weeks!
They say that I knew, and I now I vaguely recall something about it. Guess I did not think it would do much or I would have been thinking about it alot.
What is so interesting is that Mary and I attended a party a few weeks ago. It was a sort of fund-raiser. There were games you could pay to play, and if you did well at them you won a ticket.
Periodically they would draw out of a bucket and if you had the matching ticket you won a prize.
There were 30 "smaller" prizes, and 5 "big" prizes. The "smaller" prizes were around $30 each and the "big" prizes were $150+ each.
Right off the bat we won 6 of the smaller prizes. (during that same time period only 3 other people out of the 40+ people there won any prizes).
Then, Mary won the first "big" prize.
We won a few more of the smaller prizes. It was starting to feel sort of weird that we were winning so much. We were not playing anymore that most of the other people there, but the two of us were winning more prizes than all the rest of the people put together.
When they went to pull the ticket for the 2nd big prize I whispered to Mary that if either one of us won, we should NOT say that we had the ticket.
Well, sure enough, they called the number of one of the tickets I had. I just kept my mouth shut. There is no way that Mary and I should have won the first two of the five big prizes. It certainly would have seemed "fixed".
So after a minute they drew another number and someone else won the 2nd big prize.
The rest of the night we sorta laid low and did not acknowledge that we had a few more winning tickets for smaller prizes.
When we left we had 9 of the smaller prizes and the one big prize.
I do not know how to figure the odd mathematically, but it was very strange.
Then, this morning I find out that we have been on this experimental luck module.
Now it makes more sense...sorta!
