I thought about writing a post about this topic quite a while ago but hadn't gotten around to it. I've finally decided to share one method that I use as there seems to be more & more requests popping up from people wondering how to select the best Paths modules for themselves. I stress that this is a suggestion only. If it doesn't resonate with you then disregard the information & keep doing whatever you are happy doing.
There are a number of ways to muscle test or energy test.There is no right or wrong way & I have written a bit more about it over on the Theta thread. The method that I am going to explain here is simply the method that I find works well for me & is the easiest method for me to explain to people who are unfamiliar with it, so that they can then pick it up quickly to test themselves when I am doing a Theta session with them. This method can equally be applied to this process for choosing the best Paths modules for yourself. So that you can be empowered to make informed choices for yourself should you wish to do so.
This is the basic procecedure:
1. First,you need to be hydrated (have a glass of water on hand) & make sure you've drunk some water earlier. If you are dehydrated you can fool your body into thinking it is temporarily hydrated by placing your hands around your back & applying gentle yet firm pressure over your kidneys if necessary when making a statement. If you are not hydrated then your responses will not be correct even though you think they are.
2.Stand with your feet comfortably apart, knees relaxed facing NORTH to test for all statements. Shoes can be on or off, it doesn't matter.(If you don't know where North is & can't work it out by the sun rising in the East & the sun setting in the West. Then try this. Face a direction & say aloud "I am facing North" & rotate & repeat the statement for all four directions. I can't guarantee its accuracy but I find that I sway backwards for 3 directions & sway forward when I am actually facing North)
3. Begin by checking if you are in polarity by testing a few yes no statements as follows:
Say every statement out loud eg My name is ... eg in my case Sharyn - ( you should sway forward with no effort on your part for your correct name/ response) My name is Tom (you should sway backwards for any not true statement), I am a dog, I am a person etc. Once you have determined that your yes/no responses are "true", including that you are hydrated you are ready to begin.
4. If you cannot feel a response you may be :
a)trying too hard - relax, make sure your knees aren't really stiff & tense. Close your eyes so that you are not distracted & just feel & let yourself go as you say the statement. Make sure that you are in a quiet space without noisy music so that you can listen to your inner self. Sometimes you can think that you are not getting a response & there can be a little delay before you sway forwards or backwards, particularly when you are new to this technique.
b) You may be dehydrated. Test for "Am I hydrated?" then if negative or no movement drink some more water & ask again.
c) You can be out of polarity
Now to apply this to selecting your Paths modules - there are many ways to go about this.
You can test every module individually by looking one by one down the list on the web site. Use words/statements that make sense to you but here are a few suggestions that you can ask just to give you an idea to play with.
- Do I need to be on this module (insert) now? or
- Is the (eg heart health module) needed for me now? or
- Will the (eg heart health module be of benefit to me now? or
- say the statement - Which of these modules will benefit me the most now? & read each name aloud & wait for yourself to sway forward . Write down all those ones that you got a positive response for.
If you want to narrow it down more quickly you could look at the categories on the website & ask for each category:
- Is there a module in this category (eg Attitude & Outlook) that would benefit me now?
- skip the categories that you get no response for & then test individually for the modules in the categories that you got a yes response for to find out which module/s are relevant .
Then you might like to refine things even further by testing for the individual bullet points which are listed under the modules that you feel you would benfit from, so that you know which points in particular would be the most relevant to you right now. This may also be helpful if you only have eg one theatre of 4 modules but you tested that 12 modules would actually be beneficial for you at this time. How do you select the 4 best now? Maybe by selecting the 4 modules with the most bullet points that you are going to benefit from.
Another way I also test is to ask - What percentage of benefits will I get from this module (eg heart health) now? Then count out loud 10%, 20%, 30% etc up to 100%. You should sway forward on one of the percentages. I usually elect to choose the modules that are going to give me the highest percentage of benefits NOW if I'm limited to how many I can do at any one time.
If you're on modules & wondering if it is time to swap or not -ASK!
- Do I need to stay on this module now? (don't forget to name it!), Will I benefit any more from staying on this module right now?
- I need to stay on this module for x number of weeks (count like the percentages until you sway forward) to receive the full benefits.
Important Points to Consider
-Always remember to test your yes/no response each time you begin a new round of testing & that you are hydrated. By that I don't mean before every single statement but if you've had a break & then come back to test yourself. Or if you are starting to get a run of answers which you feel are "off"
- When you are testing, you are testing only what YOU BELIEVE within yourself /energy field. IE, you are testing the beliefs held within your subconscious - your body,mind,spirit.
- You can "test" at a particular NOW moment that a particular PATHS module is not needed or maybe of low benefits but can find that changes over time. Don't forget to retest for those modules at a later date. As you evolve & change your beliefs or move yourself to the next level your needs will also change.
