Mary and I went camping this last weekend.
When we were first planning the trip the weather reports were that it was going to be cool, rainy and thunderstorms in the area...so we were prepared to go or stay home, depending on what the weather looked like the day or so before leaving.
Both of us have the Luck module, and we really wanted to go, so we kept looking at the weather.
The day before we left, the weather was forecast to be warm, but with thunderstorms 2 of the 3 days.
We decided to go anyway!
We made it all the way there...no rain, and in the 70's!
The first night we were there it rained for a few hours (while were were sleeping, nice and dry in the tent). The rest of the weekend was warm, sunny and perfect!
It was so nice that by the time we were up and about the morning after the rain the first nite, there was not even any mud! It was in the 80's the whole weekend.
When we got back home Sunday afternoon, we found out that the weather at our home had been crazy the whole time we were gone. It hailed one afternoon the size of quarters. So much that our truck has some dents on the hood! (covered by insurance)
It sure seems hard to believe that this module is having an affect on weather...I know a lot of people think it does...whatever it is, we sure have had fantastic luck on our last two trips!
Below is a pic of Mary at our campsite right after we set up.
