    Thanks Doug!!

I got spirulina tablets also, so I thought I would try that, and see how my bowel tolerates that. Tomorrow morning. Then build from there, maybe going back to the AFA when my body can handle it.

Being tired is hard for me to gage....the meds I take make me tired. I just want to know that the info from PATHS is getting in my brain, but I guess I will know in time, if my feelings change........
My biggest worry is my Irritable bowel syndrome......I hope I can build to the levels required.

thanks again, you are all very, very kind!

Here is an article I found talking about the benefits of spirulina and comparing with AFA.

MICROALGAE - FIRST and FINEST SUPERFOOD

BTW, from what I read a teaspoon of Spirulina contains 4 - 5 grams.

      Smoothie it is tomarrow!!!

        Thank you Nancy!

I am going to have to go slow, though. To try to build a tolerance. I took 500 mg of spirulina this morning, and will over the coming weeks, try to build on that, see how I tolerate it. If I do tolerate it, I may try switching back to AFA, or combining the two.

        Interesting article, thankyou!!

          Hello lovely people!...

Okay, today I am starting with a 500 mg tablet of Spirulina...

I have the brand Spirulina Natural, from EARTHRISE.....it doesn't say organic, their website says it is pesticide and herbicide free, and the worlds largest producer of spirulina products...

Does anyone know if this is a good brand, or if I should try something else? No powders, please, I need to PRECICELY measure my intake as I build up...

          Thanks so much!!

I don't know that brand Val, someone else here might. I have heard NOW brand metioned as great.

I had my first spirulina smoothie....WOW, what a difference!!!! After a few sips I felts clearer and more energized! I put a whole tablespoon spirulina in, with juice, yogurt, fruit, cinnamon, cardomom(helps digest protien). I can't say that I would choose to drink it for flavor, but will prob look forward to it for the energy boost!!!

I guess the Wholefoods brand is not the best tablets. Even though I wasn't taking enough tabs, they weren't as BRIGHT green as my powder, and I never felt an uplift from taking them.

            In Graditude and Love...and greeness!,

A bit of shameless self promotion for the algae growing thread I started: http://www.energeticforum.com/agricu...ing-algae.html

I'm currently growing Spirulina and a couple of other stains. Also I have the research on how to grow AFA, which is the next algae strain I'll be getting.
