    Sorry I'm Late...

    Hi Lovies,

Sorry for the late post, but I just returned from my vacation...I am going to type fast and try to get this in before the mystery is revealed!

Okay...the first thing I noticed was that my meditations became deeper and I now feel a very pleasant vibration-like feeling throughout my body while meditating...I like it! Also noticed that during the breathing exercises that I have been doing for the last year and a half, I am able to get the "light" to go further than my solar plexus for the first time. I have been doing the breathing exercises that Aaron posted way back when and now it is easy to get the Qi to go all the way to my root chakra and back up...It is a very delicious feeling.

Then I noticed that my dreams seem more lucid and vivid... During my dreams I am finding myself in situations where I have the choice to either exhibit power or weakness and have chosen power each time. These dream-scenes are ones that in "real life" I would normally not be confrontational or speak my "Truth" to certain people who might not be able to comfortably handle that. As the days unfolded and during my vacation, I found that I was also able to more powerfully and articulately voice my true and deeper feelings in "real life" without a smidgen of concern about any possible consequences.

Another absolutely delightful change is that I seem to have this great acceptance of "what is" and this is noticable in situations that would normally make me a wee bit unhappy. I feel more of a "lightness" within my being and more In The Now than ever. I seem to have less and less fears or concerns about how the future will unfold. I like it...a lot!!!

Oh, I almost forgot! I had what seemed to be my very first Out Of Body experience last week! It was VERY short...I was meditating and then, all of a sudden I found myself flying over this church-like structure with one of those spire thingys on top...As soon as I saw that I was going to fly over the spire, I popped back into my body! I liked that, too!!!

    With Much Love and Gratitude,

      Mystery Module Revealed

      Mystery Module Revealed!

This is a fun one! We have been working on it for a couple of years.

It appears we now have it refined enough for release.

      Are you Ready?

      The Module is Lucid Dreaming!

The primary goal of this Module is to increase the # of Vivid and Lucid dreams.

Several of you reported exactly that. Also, as a side note (Pamela), Out of Body Experiences are a cousin to Lucid Dreaming.

A secondary effect of this Module is being more in control, therefore generating feelings of being more powerful and peaceful.

The reason that we put instructions regarding control in the Lucid Dreaming Module is because over time our testing showed that it is important for people to be able to exercise some control over their dreaming. This allows for better processing of the days events and upcoming events, as well as emotional processing that is normal during sleep.

Now that you know what the Module is, some things may make more sense. Please share any other experiences you have had (are having, since the module is still running) that could be related.

For all participants in this test, we will leave the Lucid Dreaming Module in your Theater through the end of August (unless you request us to remove it).

The Lucid Dreaming Module will be released to the public in August.

To all participants in this latest test, as well as those that have tested it on and off over the last couple of years.
      Happiness & Health,

        experience on dream module

        Hi everyone,

I've had some success with this module helping to stimulate lucid dreams but hands down, every single night, my dreams are extremely vivid! I have always been very addicted to dreaming and I'm totally fine with that so I find myself having to give a little bit more effort to get out of bed simply because I enjoy the vividness of the dreams.

Many of these dreams have to do with energy circuits and they are running in my head in full detail. I wake up draw them down...they make sense, I build them and they work on the first try. It is like answers clearly given to me from the collective because many contain parts that I had no empirical knowledge of.

With most lucid dreaming programs, there are some simple exercises you can do to help massively boost the ability to lucid dream. Since you know with your conscious thinking mind that the module is about lucid and vivid dreaming, it should be even more effective.

I will post a worksheet soon with a few tips that I have used for almost 15 years. Not only do they help to stimulate lucid dreaming, but a few of them help you to stay inside of a dream longer if you feel yourself slipping from the dream...if that is desirable of course. It will synergize with this module.
        Sincerely,
        Aaron Murakami

          Life is Absolutely Fabulous!

How Fantastic!!! Last year when Aaron told me that Paths was working on a Lucid dreaming Module, I was excited because I had a very real (felt like I do now while typing this, very real) dream about sea shells pouring from the palm of my hand!

I remember Aaron telling me that technically it was not a Lucid Dream, it was more like the movie (which I love, and have seen at least 5 times) Groundhog day. Either way it was wonderful, and I still hope to experience a Lucid dream someday soon.

I have to admit my dreams have been normal, but I can't wait to have a Lucid Dream!! I have more faith now that it will happen sooner than later!! I think I will go watch my modules now!

            lucid dreaming

I remember Grace! Didn't that sea shell dream happen while you thought you actually woke up in bed? That type of experience happens to me usually when waking up in sleep paralysis mode where I see that I am in my bed in my room but things are just different.

When using this module, I have not practiced my normal lucid dream exercises because I wanted to see what it would do all by itself. With a few simple things, the chance of a lucid dream is greatly boosted! I'll post it soon.
            Sincerely,
            Aaron Murakami

I have been the test subject on various versions of this Module over the last year or so.

I have to say, this time they nailed it.

Previously I MIGHT have had more vivid dreams...couldn't say for sure.

This last two weeks, EVERY SINGLE NIGHT, I have had extremely vivid (and mostly relevant) dreams.

One was so good and real that I woke up thinking it had really happened, when I realized it had not, I went back to sleep and continued it. (I wonder if it was predictive....it was about a friend I have not seen in years coming down to visit)

I have had only one that could be classified as Lucid. I have not been using Aarons Lucid Dreaming Worksheet....I will begin today.

P.S. I did know what this test was about, but I also knew before when it did not really work so well for me, so I do not believe the last two weeks were placebo.

The PATHS staff nailed this one. I have been dreaming like crazy and I have had the Feeling of being more in control. This is a module I probly? would not have chosen to include in my theater. But now that I have exprienced it I see value beyond lucid dreaming. I have enjoyed the dreams and the power and control. Since I've seen this come up in the thread, what is the technical definition of a lucid dream anyway?

A lucid dream is a dream in which the person is aware that he or she is dreaming while the dream is in progress, also known as a conscious dream. When the dreamer is lucid, he or she can actively participate in the dream environment without any of the inhibitions or limitations that otherwise would feel natural to persons who incorrectly believe they are in the "real" waking world. Lucid dreams can be extremely real and vivid depending on a person's level of self-awareness during the lucid dream.[1]

I got this definition from Wikipaedia

                            misc lucid dreaming stuff

When starting to lucid dream, the first experiences might be just the feeling of being in awe that you realize that you are dreaming and you might be so surprised that you forget to try to do anything else. To me it always seems more real than this "waking life."

With enough of them, you might start to realize that you can literally create anything you want with you intention.

The most common theme I find myself enjoying in lucid dreams is levitating, flying and performing super human powers...such as telekinesis and other type of abilities. Levitation and flying is definitely my favorite. I usually become lucid in my time travel dreams.

You can literally command the entire scenery to be anything you want. It is like having your own personal "holodeck" from Star Trek or the "construct" in The Matrix. You can command the scenery to be what you want, the company of others or anything else that your imagination can "dream" up. You can do anything you want, be anything you want to be instantly, you can change things into other things at will. You are the master creator of your own world but you don't have to wait for anything to manifest...it is instantaneous.

There is Tibetan dream yoga and other ancient practices that take a lot of practice and discipline to start having lucid dreams at will.

The concept of staring at your palms in the worksheet, I got from Carlos Castaneda's teachings way back.

The spinning technique to stay in a dream, I learned from Stephen LaBerge. I had a lucid dreaming book from him almost 15 years ago. You can find his stuff online and he is probably responsible for the biggest movement in the united states on lucid dreaming.

I've used the lucid dreaming module for a while now without any dedication to any practice and I am blown away by the results of the module alone. I did have an advantage of knowing that I was using the module but now I will start to consciously do a few practices to trigger lucidity on an ongoing basis.

After enough lucid dreaming experiences, you will literally be able to fall asleep wide awake and maintain your lucidity into the dream time. I've only done this a few times in my life but it is very real and can be done with mastery, which I have never mastered. I believe some of the goals of the Tibetan dream practices is to have people master lucidity as their body dies so they remain lucid through the entire passage to the "other side"...and the awareness can carry on unbroken...possibly.

One practice in general is to keep a dream journal and one of the main reasons for lucid dreaming practice isn't necessarily to record what you dream but to be in the mindset of recalling the dreams for the sake of recalling them...simply to get in the habit of intending to have more vivid dreams. This module gives a serious boost to vivid dreaming and that is a HUGE step to start lucid dreaming. Of course getting good deep restful sleep can help get into a healthy rem sleep even better.

I'm not sure if nicotine or other cigarette ingredients effect sleep but if you drink any alcohol before sleep, alcohol disturbs the deep sleep process and helps to inhibit really intense dreaming. I don't know about other common substances before sleep that would be commonly used.

There are a few natural (and legal) supplements/herbs that can help boost dreaming. One I will mention in case you want to experiment with it, especially in conjunction with this module is GABA. You can get it at just about any health food store. It is used for anxiety relief mostly, but if you take it 30 minutes before bed (500mg or less is a typical dose), it can dramatically enhance REM sleep. I'm very sensitive to GABA and if I take even small amounts, my brain is buzzing pretty stongly. You can research it online and make sure to see if there are any warnings as far as taking it with any other medications, etc... Ask for free samples whenever you can at health food stores so you don't spend money on something that won't work for you. Most have good refund policies because the suppliers will simply replace the bottles that were returned but it helps the stores if you simply try samples first. If you find a store that carries Source Naturals brand, they can get LOTS of free samples by asking Threshold - the company that manufacturers and distributes Source Naturals...and GABA is one they have lots of samples for.
                            Sincerely,
                            Aaron Murakami

Ahhhhhhhh!!!!! Lol.... I didn't mention the dreams because I've found that whenever I start a new Paths module, I have more vivid dreams.

I've also always had a lOt of flying dreams and Elevator dreams, and have had a few Lucid Dreams in the past. So... these last two weeks, I have had very vivid dreams as I often do.... but now that I pay more attention, I had noticed that my dreams were more comprehensable than they usually are. I've had more dreams that made sense to the conscious mind than I usually do. And I did have one Lucid Dream I'd forgotten about. I can't remember now what it was about - it was around a week ago, but I can remember it was Lucid, although I think it was very brief. I've also had a couple of elevator and flying dreams in the last two weeks.

The very best dream I've ever had (which was about a year ago) was a Lucid Flying Dream!! I'd always had a lot of flying dreams, but never been Lucid during them, (that I can remember anyway), and I'd decided that the next time I became lucid, I'd fly.

So I was walking along a country lane, and it felt soooo real - and it occured to me I was dreaming. But then I thought about it and decided it was too real to be a dream. (It felt more real than "reality"). So I decided I must be awake. Then I became aware of someone trying to steal a car behind the hedge I was walking next to. So I rose vertically into the air to chase them away. They ran, and as I hovered there, above the hedge, I reasoned that if I was awake, I'd not be hovering in the air lol

What a fUn feeling!! So I zoomed around a bit - saw the skyline of Johannesburg, and then came down lower, and saw a viscious guard dog in front of me, then realised there was one behind me as well - it apeared I was trapped. At first I felt a pang of fear, and then reminded myself it was a dream so I had control. So I waited until the dogs rushed at me, and then rose into the air again so they bumped into each other Then I tried not to wake up... and did.

Can't wait to see what happens further with this module now! Hopefully more dreams like that.

I also belong to a Lucid Dreaming Forum I haven't been to for a loooong time (there was some "LOA-bashing" going on, and having had some fun in the debate, I got bored and haven't been back) but once this module's released I think it would be a great place to pootle on over and have a link to the LD module in our signatures

                                dream stuff

                                Odille,

I've had maybe 2-3 elevator dreams in the last month. Also many dreams of exploring different rooms in a building that I'm moving through. That is "supposed" to represent moving through different areas of the mind or consciousness...but that is a vague/general description that I may partly agree with.

The elevator dreams are usually only a part of the building dreams when moving from room to room.

The most incredible elevator dream I had was several years ago when I did keep a dream journal. I was going up in an elevator and it took me into a ship that was hovering above the earth in orbit and I remember the feeling of awe when I looked down at the beauty of the Earth. In this dream, I was very lucid but had no desire to have any control of it...was just observing.

Something I notice when waking up from a dream is that I find myself reading something, then as it starts to shift and jumble around I simply focus on it with a lot of will power and I'm able to read entire signs or paragraphs in a dream without it shifting. "They" say you can't really read things in dreams because they shift around but I find that isn't true.

I've been a dream junkie all my life

The first dream I can recall in full detail, I was about 5 years old. It was like it happened yesterday and is another story. lol
                                Sincerely,
                                Aaron Murakami
