I just had an idea whilst watching my theatres today...
In the past, most of my answers to the questions that I have been asked on the theatre (e.g. "are you on your path", "is your love unconditional" etc) have been "no", simply because I do not feel that way. But then, I think part of the problem with my way of thinking is that I focus on what I do not have, and what I have not yet achieved in my personal and spiritual development, instead of focusing on that part of me (however tiny) which is on the right path, and does love conditionally.
So, today, instead of going with my gut reaction to the questions, I clicked "yes" on every one of them, and used them as prompts to focus on feeling that feeling. For example, for loving unconditionally, even though my initial reaction used to be "no! I think I'm a selfish, immature individual who loves only to get something in return and I hate myself for not being a good enough person to love unconditionally!", I instead focused on that little part of me that does know how to love unconditionally, magnifying it and feeling what it feels like. If I couldn't find it in myself, I instead imagined what it would feel like to be able to love unconditionally. And then focus on that feeling of being able to love unconditionally until the next question/prompt comes up.
Does anyone else do this? I'm going to start doing this every time I watch my theatres, it was kind of fun!
