  • Is taking spirulina really necessary?

    Hello all

    So, I have been taking the Self Esteem theater for a few days now. Just a few hours ago, I bought Stimulate Intuition and Insight. I'm looking forward to seeing how these paths help benefit me and my life. Lord knows I could use a little help.

    So I've been reading that one needs spirulina in order to truly get the biggest benefit from these paths. Now, from the research I've done, while these things seem to be high in amino acids, which many have said is to own the pills, from what I understand, all amino acids do is help regulate metabolism.

    Now, I'd be a lot more open to buying a thing of tablets or such, if I could understand how it would benefit me. For that matter, I'm 16 years old. As I understand it, the people who typically use paths are older. Do I really need spirulina?

    neurotransmitters and brain function

    Hi Max,

    The aminos have many functions. The primary for PATHS is to have
    some very absorbable aminos (in spirulina or blue-green algae) so that the
    brain can create enough neurotransmitters and build connections at a more
    rapid rate than usual. Aminos are very crucial for this process and for brain
    function.

      My personal experience is PATHS without spirulina makes me feel incredibly drained. If I forget to take it in the morning, I am well aware of it very soon after and take it right away.

        That makes sense, but if that is the only reason to take it, to not feel drained, then I can deal with that. If you were to say, I'd have a higher chance of my sub concious accepting what it is being told, or that it would do it faster, then that would be more incentive.

          Here is an excerpt from the Nutrition page of the PATHS website that explains about Spirulina and why it is highly recommended:

          PATHS is a unique energetic tool that assists your mind (aka the subconscious) to reach goals that your conscious mind has set for yourself. Because PATHS is going to be instructing your mind to help you enhance your abilities, a certain amount of increased brain activity is expected, and the brain, to function properly, needs adequate nutrition. Amino acids and minerals are of particular importance in getting the most productivity out of your unconscious brain.

          Research has shown that spirulina (available at most all health food and vitamin stores) and a good multi mineral will make a world of difference in how effectively your mind works on your new PATHS. Typical amount of Spirulina ranges between 2000 - 3000 mg's per Module.

          Note: Take spirulina in the morning/early afternoon. Too close to bedtime can disrupt sleep.


          Minerals and Amino Acids

          Some of the PATHS modules will energetically direct increases in your bodily functions, energetically generate new youthful looking skin, energetically increase bone density, energetically increase physical energy, etc. Because of this, your body will most likely need an increase in nutrients.

          With PATHS your brain will be more active, thus requiring more fuel (amino acids) to operate properly. Below is a short explanation of how our brains work.

            Is Spiralina necessary?

            I just read that the recommended amount of Spiralina was 2000-3000 mgs per module. Does that mean that since have 6 modules I should take 12,000 mgs of Spiralina?

              Hi Del!

              Optimum Spirulina dosage varies from person to person. Some people need more, some people need less.

              We suggest starting at a low base level of around 5000mg for your current amount of PATHS (6). Then if you are feeling foggy, tired or irritable, try increasing your dosage by 1000mg per day. When you reach a day where you felt better the day before, go back to the dosage from that day, and that is your current optimum.
