Hi Guys!
I have been scowering the net for info on paths but there is very little in way of explaining PATHS.
Could one of you guys do that for me?
I would like to know what these theaters are!
From my poor understanding of this i came to the conclusion that PATHS is subliminal messaging,the very same as the process used all the time in tv advertisements and movies! So is it?
Because i read some blog somewhere that paths can implant or stream data into your mind at millions of instructions per second! Well, some skeptics would run a mile at reading that since the eye cannot process a throughput of data at those rates!(ahem) but i am educated enough to know that the human subconscious can be programmed visually and or audibly with the subject being completely unaware of it.
Just last week i watched a documentary on TV here in the UK that covered this matter and went some way to prove it, It came from studies done on chimps doing some of these image recognition tests on the touch screen computer,The scientists would flash a number of symbols and shapes onto the screen in random order and the chimps task was to work out the order the images appeared.
They found that these chimps could with very high accuracy, complete each test even when the image sequences were flashed up at lightning speeds way way quicker than the chimps eyes could process.
Next the scientists took a young female university graduate and pitted her against the chimps,She was not able to do the tests very well at all.
Next they did a test where they pulsed a very strong magnetic field into the young ladies head whilst she completed the same high speed visual test that the chimps had done. the magnetic field was pulsed in time with the random images flashing on the screen.The feild was said to block the part of the brain that normally processes visual information. So guess what! the girl was able to complete the tests with great accuracy just like the chimps even though she did not recall seeing anything on the screen.
During this study, observations of the subjects brain showed that other areas of the brain not normally associated with visual processing became active.
This was also found to be the case in the chimps brains.
So what did they prove?
I think the showed that the eye can take in data at way faster speeds than first thought by medical science.
I think they proved that we do indeed have other dormant senses (the subconscious as some of you call it) and parts of the brain we simply do not understand.
I think that they proved that we are not alone species wise,in having these talents,we are just the ones who have forgotten how to use them!
So basically, is this sort of how PATHS works? but with meditation instead of a hulking great machine pulsing ones head with magnetics?
I find the subject interesting and would love to try PATHS but, at the moment
i am just scraping by financially (unemployed) and i am quite ill with so many strange and unidentifiable illnesses (I think i am being poisoned by my surroundings! i have a massive petro-chem plant on my doorstep.)so no job prospects atm but maybe in the future!
