Greetings fellow PATHS users!
We are very pleased to announce the start of a humanitarian project that is unlike anything ever done before. Kevin and Aaron brought this idea with them to the ESM-PATHS convention that took place recently in Las Vegas, NV. The working title of this project is "Project Collective."
We all now know and appreciate that through the Law of Attraction, we draw all manner of experiences into our being. Place your attention on anything long enough and with enough emotion, and it will become reality. If the power of a single individual's thoughts is enough to attract a new reality, what would the power of thousands be capable of attracting? Can we cause rain to pour in drought-sticken countries? Can we create clean drinking water for the inhabitants of third-world nations? Can we feed the millions who go to sleep each night hungry?
Aside from this, Aaron and Kevin introduced us, at the conference, to Princeton University's Research Project entitled PEAR: (Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research). Here is an introduction, taken from the site:
Scientific Study of Consciousness-Related Physical Phenomena. From: Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research
The Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research (PEAR) program was established at Princeton University in 1979 by Robert G. Jahn, then Dean of the School of Engineering and Applied Science, to pursue rigorous scientific study of the interaction of human consciousness with sensitive physical devices, systems, and processes common to contemporary engineering practice. Over the next 28 years, an interdisciplinary staff of engineers, physicists, psychologists, and humanists has conducted a comprehensive agenda of experiments and developing complementary theoretical models to enable better understanding of the role of consciousness in the establishment of physical reality.
There is a wealth of information on PEAR on the ESM forum: Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research
Their results showed that our consciousness has a definite and measurable effect on our physical world. You may have heard of the experiments done with crime rates in certain cities, where groups meditated similtaneously at a specific time, in a particular city, and police reports showed a more-than-significant drop in crime at that time - which they could not attribute to anything else. Aaron and Kevin's idea is that each of us has the option to "donate" part of our theatre presentation to effecting certain change on a specific global condition.
What is the limit that we can achieve by pooling our thoughts and intentions? This is what we intend to answer.
PATHS has agreed to design a module to benefit our fellow inhabitants of planet Earth. This module will be completely free of charge and will be inserted into the theatres of those who are willing to participate. When one watches their chosen modules, this added module will also be viewed. This will be totally voluntary. If one wants to participate, one will have the opportunity to "opt-in" for this project. This will work much like the opportunity one currently has to select the "sleep booster" for their theatre.
We need the assistance of all PATHS users to help make this a reality. Currently, we are looking for the following:
* A name for this project. The working title is "Project Collective" Aaron and Kevin's original working title was "Lend Your Brain", which Odille finds hilarious, and would like to keep, but agrees that we would prefer a title that is more descriptive of the overall goals we wish to accomplish.
* Project ideas. We have mentioned a few ideas above to help get you started. We are looking for ideas that can attract measurable and relatively quick results, while at the same time benefiting the greatest number of people within this criteria.
* Length of time for the project. How long do you think each module should be active before we move on to another worthy cause?
* Ideas for communication. How should we effectively communicate this plan to all users of PATHS?
We are now actively recruiting your input on the above points. Please contact the affiliate you are signed up under and give him or her your suggestions and ideas. Or, feel free to contact Odille Rault (Illusions) or Pamela Vicik-Smith who are co-chairing this project. You can PM Pamela or Odille, but we would prefer it if you could post your suggestions to your PATHS affiliate to keep the input of data more manageable.
This is an exciting concept and an excellent opportunity to create a better life for all who share our planet. We are so looking forward to your enthusiastic response and assistance.
Love and Light and GREAT Excitement : ) xxx
